Closed on our house in August 2022, submitted final walk-thru punch list at that time, which included water damage to all of the bi-fold doors in the house (3 sets). Had new doors FINALLY delivered in March 2024. Builder scheduled contractor to come out and install the doors in May 2024, however no one showed up to install the doors. Meadowbrook is no longer responding to my inquiries about install. The request was submitted well within the 1 year builders warranty period (it was submitted day of closing). Builder has always been slow to respond but I am no longer confident they will hold up their end of the agreement. We are fast approaching 24 months of trying to get these doors installed.Initial Complaint

Meadowbrook Builders have not repaired or replaced a sliding glass door as agreed upon with our 1 year warranty. The trim around the door is broken. They sent a repairman out during our 6 month warranty work which was completed but ultimately failed again. We are seeking a replacement door as we do not believe that they will be able to repair this issue nor are they responding to any inquirys in regards to the repair.Initial Complaint

Have been attempting to contact the Meadowbrook Builders as they are also our *** as the subdivision is not completely built yet. However there is never a reply, and when an issue arose regarding the *** payments, nobody is able to assist. The builders decided to switch companies that were processing the quarterly *** payments, but not everyone in the neighborhood was notified. By January 2023, there was finally a post made on our ******** subdivision page about the change. After looking into it on my own, and contacting the new company on my own, I was able to set up an account and pay my account going forward, great. However, there was never a past due balance, and now they are trying to have us evicted from our home due to no communication about the change. The "front office" claims they can not help and that I need to contact the company processing the payments, and the company that is processing the payments claim I need to contact the ***. Do not purchase a home at *********** in *******, **. We are paying an *** Fee, and have zero representation, and nobody to contact.Initial Complaint

****STAY FAR AWAY!!!!.***** First off, if you read this review and you still build with Meadowbrook, you deserve whatever you get. Also, any review that mentions having a great experience with the owner (Aladdin) is obviously a review posted by an employee or relative. No customer has ever had any dealings with him, because we were told we couldn't, by ******* (his "Manager"). The first words that come to my head when thinking about Meadowbrook, and LIARS and NIGHTMARE. ************ actually told my wife they would fix our sunken sidewalk if my wife took down her Negative review****Signed the contract in January 2018, broke ground in June, closed in February 2019. 13 months of lie, after lie, after lie. Over $400,000 for excruciating mental anguish,and this garbage pile they call a "semi-custom home". We refinanced 6 months after we closed and the house appraised for $47,000 less than we paid for it (our fault).Nothing about these homes are custom.EVERY fixture in the house was bought at ********** down the street. ********** down the street. Because the house was open for so long without windows, all the subflooring had standing water puddles, causing them to warp. So now you can feel all the flooring screws popping up as you walk on the carpet (which was replaced after 6 months because it started to fray and tear). Every floor creaks as you walk on them. The wood flooring is absolute GARBAGE. After a year it looks like its 20 years old. The basement has leaked since the day we closed (see pictures)******* told us they improperly prepped the exterior for the stone (real professional)which is why it was leaking. They came back 8 MONTHS later to try and fix it. It's been 6 months since, it's still leaking! They left a complete mud pit for us the day we closed,and still had workers at the house during our final walk through. That shows they only cared about getting us to close, so they could get our moneyBusiness response
