December 29, 2021 Annual Eye Exam I am refuting the $45.00 Refraction charge and would like it to be removed from my **** that they say I owe of $93.29 after they received payment from ********.I clearly stated on that date that I did not need new eyeglasses when they asked. They told me that my eyes were only being dilated with eye drops for the purpose of the doctor checking them. I did not read any letters nor do any vision reading for the purpose of writing a prescription. In fact, the doctor told me that my vision was pretty much the same as last year. I was not given, nor did I request a new prescription for eyeglasses. They are fully aware that ******** does not cover this charge. When I called today about this charge they told me that there was a prescription in my chart for new eyeglasses. When I stated that I did not request one nor did the doctor say I needed one, nor was I tested for eyeglasses when I was there, why did they not ask me for the $45.00 payment and give me the prescription then so I could have refuted this charge. They had no answer and said that someone would get back to me. Why is there now a prescription in my chart if the doctor thought I needed one that was not mentioned to me. But now they want me to pay for this prescription that erroneously showed up in my chart that I did not receive, nor request on December 29, 2021. They said that I signed and accepted the terms and conditions which obviously were not clear to me that I had to pay a charge for something I did not need. I am a Senior Citizen with no ********************** and they were aware of this fact. I would appreciate your assistance regarding this matter.
