The Center for OCD and Anxiety does not accept health insurance. When our daughter began treatment there, they explained that we would need to pay for everything out of pocket, but that their staff would work with us every step of the way to see that we got reimbursed by our insurance company. They gave us the impression that they help patients' families with this all the time, and that they were very confident in their ability to help us navigate the system and get reimbursed in 4-6 weeks. We have paid over $8,000 in unreimbursed charges, and no-one at the Center for OCD and Anxiety seems to have any idea how we can get this money back. We have filed multiple claims with the insurance company, had, scores of phone conversations with The Center for OCD and Anxiety, and now it just seems we will never receive the reimbursements we were assured would come, or even an apology. Other families should be warned that The Center is not willing or able to help with reimbursement from insurance companies.
