at first everything seemed to be going smoothly. we got a quote for a slab and agreed on the price. we paid our first installment for the deposit and within the next 2 days he came out and put the form up and we paid the second installment. with how fast he was getting things done we decided to go ahead and pay him the final installment for the concrete. unfortunately, it went all downhill from there. since May 18th, we now have a warped form and rebar just lying there on the ground. we have had 7 reschedules and multiple no call no shows. the communication stopped and has been a hassle of excuses. we are now into the end of July and with nothing, we were fed up with delay after delay and asked for our refund. he agreed to it, here we are a week later and have not yet received our refund and blocked from messenger and his ********. 5k down the drain. just go with someone else so you don't have to go through the same experience and eventually having to take legal actions.Initial Complaint

On October 23, 2023, I found this Business on the ******** Marketplace and left them a message and they responded. I let them know I needed a cement post for mailbox and they stated they could do it for $350.00 and deposit of $175.00 down. They sent me a contract through messages. I agreed with the price and the deposit. I asked how they took the form of payment and he gave me a few options in which I agreed with **** ***. He gave me the **** *** of **** ****** to send the deposit to and it was received and he verified it. That week he was to come out and do the job. He stated he was on the way and a rock hit the windshield and broke. I told him to please get it fix and rescheduled. Then we messaged me saying he was behind with work because of the rain and would try and fit me in. Still since October 23, 2023 he made no attempt to get this completed. I requested my deposit back in which he agreed and would send it through **** ***. I did show proof of that with attachments. I had asked two to three times for my refund and he gave every excuse why he hasnt yet. Then i sent a refund request through **** *** and it was denied and I was blocked. I made one final attempt and the company or *** will not respond. I am also blocked from his ******** page. I just want my deposit back because he did not hold up his commitment to the contract.
