I financed a car last year of April. in August the alternator went out it took them a month to fix it I got the car back in September two days later the engine went out they got the car in the end of September 2023 they had the car October and November coming into December they said they fixed it every thing is new They supposed to gave me a brand new engine . I paid the deductible and everything the next day the car went back out. They fixed it and two days later it went right back out now this is February they had it since then after finding out that I need a whole new engine, they said they couldnt fix it. I have to pay for myself. The warranty company said they paid them 5000 for a new engine but the dealership said I have to pay for it I tried to give the car back but the dealer told the financial company that they dont have the car which is a lie I road pass and seen the car last week idk what to do because they dont want to talk to me or work with me the car is still at their dealership. The financial company contacted the dealer ship and they told them that my car is being fixed by someone else and it would be done by the end of this money I called the dealership they said thats a lie they not fixing the carInitial Complaint

I purchased a car on 02/27/2024 from this dealership and gave the owner $4000 as a down payment. He wanted me to give him more money which I thought was strange but I agreed because I just wanted to pay the car off as soon as I could. I agreed to give him an additional $2000 which I gave him $1000 4 days later. The car started to run funny around 3 days after the purchase which is when I called and explained to him what was going on but his main concern was really just getting the other money I told him I would give him. The car was fine for a few days but then started doing a dangerous thing as I was driving in the car with my children. I texted the owner on that Monday that I was going to bring him the car back as he was texting and demanding I give him more money. I went out of town and he towed the car from my property on 03/14 and stated I owe him for the remainder of the car and I will not be getting the car nor my money back. He stated hes done this before which is a scam and theft. He basically stole the car from me after only having it for 2 weeks. I have 2 kids and I purchased the car so we wouldnt have to ride public transportation and it was supposed to be a source of income for me so I can continue to make money doing Uber/Lyft. This has been a huge inconvenience to my family and has placed me in a whole. That was my hard earned money that he just took advantage of. I believe because I am a woman and I was in a vulnerable state he did take advantage of manipulating me because I was by myself. Can you guys please help me with this situation. I need my money back or another proper working vehicle.Business response

The customer never paid the balance of $2000 as agreed m. We kept trying to tell her that this will put her account as bad account.
when she complained about the vehicle needing some repairs. We asked several times to bring it In.
for a whole week she kept ignoring us.

I am rejecting this response because: Hes lying I sent you an additional $1000 a few days after which totaled $5000. I agreed to give you another $1000 but you sold me a lemon that did not work and once I said I was going to bring the car back and you didnt get more money you decided you wrongfully tow my car after only having it for 2 weeks. You were texting me about you not having money to pay your bills which may be a reason why you basically stole from me. Just give me my money back and we wont have to take this any further.

We tried to call text this customer. Would not cooperate. She just refused to honor the deal we had

I am rejecting this response because: you only was honoring the deal until I said I was bringing the car back for you guys to keep. After that you decided to steal the car along with my money. You are completely wrong! Me having the car only 2 weeks and you sending a tow truck to come pick it up was way out of your jurisdiction whether you feel like I didnt honor a deal or not. Just give me money back and my things that you stole with the car!
