My wife received Lasik surgery in February 2020 at this location. The surgery did not work in one eye, and she required a follow-up visit. At the follow-up visit, the doctor instructed her to get glasses to test her sight and wrote the prescription. She told my wife that LasikPlus would reimburse her for the glasses, which cost $330. When we submitted the receipt, LasikPlus then only reimbursed $130, which they then increased with another $20. I am seeking the remainder of the reimbursement. They do not dispute any of the above but hold merely that its policy is to only reimburse to $150. They have never claimed that the doctor informed my wife about the policy. Had she been informed, then she would have changed her actions accordingly.Initial Complaint

On 3/20/23 I had a consultation for LASIK corrective eye surgery. I was given a quote of $2122.75 after the consultation. I agreed to the price quoted and scheduled the procedure. On 3/31/23 I arrived for my procedure and during the check in process, the office confirmed my prepayment of $2122.75 but asked me to pay additional money. When I showed them the quote I was given and agreed to I was told someone screwed up the quote and charged for only one eye but should have been for both eyes so it was twice the price. It was a clear bait and switch. I asked for a refund and cancelled the procedure. I believe they should have honored the quote given regardless of who in their office screwed up.
