If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. This dealership does very shady business, and only cares about volume of sales. Will not provide invoice(written proof) on advertised online price otd. Give bait and switch vibes, and provide horrible customer service. Will not buy nor recommend buying.Review from Kjell O

Absolute scam dealership. They lie on the published pricing of their vehicles and spam them out to third-party car search websites in an effort to bait-and-switch incoming customers. Their "Product Specialists" (salespeople) start off the process well enough, cheerful and knowledgeable about the freshly washed car pulled dramatically from the lot behind the building. Once they're ready to move the process forward however, a "manager" steps in and begins to endlessly dissemble the process: inflating the (clearly fake) publicly-listed price, demanding in-house financing as a non-negotiable part of the sale, all while reeking of cologne stronger than what a fifth-grader would nervously wear to junior prom. After the first disappointing visit I waited a few months to give them a second try. Maybe I just had bad luck on my previous visit. I scheduled a showing for a specific listing with their call center over the phone and confirmed everything was prepared at 6pm before they closed for the day. Upon my arrival first thing the next day, I was told the vehicle I arranged to test drive wasn't even on site, and hadn't been there for 45 days. There was a similar fairy tale for the three other vehicles of the same make/model they listed. I left immediately when the product specialist tried selling a less desirable and much costlier vehicle. The next week I bought the car I wanted from a no-haggle dealership without endless manipulation attempts from the sales team. Don't fall for Old Orchard's scam. BBB should re-evaluate their accreditation of this business in light of a recent change of ownership. See Yelp for more scathing reviews.Review from Toby B

ODOMETER FRAUD investigation. On 7/24/24, I went into purchase a 2022 **** F-350 with ****** mi on it. The next day, I hooked it up to a trailer and suddenly the check engine light came on. I took it to a friend's shop to hook it up to the diagnostic system and he told me the truck had ******+ miles on it and a fuel injector is out. I called the dealership at 3:30 p.m., called every hour for several hours, and they finally let me talk to a manager at 6:45 p.m. They claimed they had no idea, but the dealership serviced the truck and it was sitting on their lot for over 4 months. I do not believe that they didn't know. FURTHERMORE, they need to be investigated for fraudulent advertising. It was listed online at $44,000. When arriving at the dealership, suddenly the price of the vehicle pre-tax and fees was $49,000 due to hidden dealership fees. This is illegal per the Illinois Attorney General's website. As a consumer, we are entitled to the listed price plus tax, title, and doc fees. "Dealership processing fees" need to be included in the listed price. After negotiating for hours, I was able to remove some of those fees but of course got less on my trade in.This dealership is scamming people. Stay away!Review from John B

Onsite visit July 6, asked to see specific advertised **** which they washed and brought out. After examining car, asked for out the door pricing which went from Sticker of $29,990 to $35,000. Challenged $35k and was told they advertise $2-3k under market, then add doc fee @ $350, plate transfer @ $175 and required bank financing (with loan origination fee) through their bank which can be cancelled after 3-4 payments. I told them I intended to pay cash, and was told both dealer and their bank had to make margin on the sale after quoting prices under market value. Obvious deceptive advertising to lure customers, and then hike price with other required financials, some of their own initiative. I left after talking to Manager and didnt make any progress on cash sale. Have since sent two emails challenging $35k quote and have not heard anything. BBB criteria includes honest, accurate advertising which was NOT the case in this posting on Cars.com by Old Orchard Nissan JPB, Hinsdale ILReview from RYAN S

We went to look at a car at Old Orchard Nissan and had a horrible experience. We were greeted and told to wait for a salesperson. One came over and didn't even say his name to us. We went over to his desk and told him the cars we were looking at. Luckily they were on the lot unlike a lot of other reviews. It took him over 15 minutes to go get the car for a test drive. Once he pulled the car up he didn't even open any of the doors and just handed me the keys. Didn't even tell us about any of the features and just made us look at everything. It was very awkward and right there we were ready to leave. We told him we had a lease we would like to use as a trade in and he made some comment about not dealing with lease trade ins and they weren't worth their time. We did take a test drive and the salesperson didn't talk and just gave us directions on where to go. Once we got back they gave us the numbers and the final number was $20,000 over the sticker price. I don't even know how you get to that. I had to ask for our keys back multiple times and it got to a point I didn't even feel safe. As we were trying to leave a sales manager came out and tried to get us to stay. I don't recommend this place at all.Review from Destiny O

This place is a classic bait and switch. I was warned this would happen and didn't believe it, but everything came true during my visit. I called and talked to **** 3 times before traveling 2.5 hours to come see a car (all in the same day). He told me the car was washed & pulled out front for my test drive. I get **************** tells me the car has sold. Claims "the system is down" so that's why **** didn't know it was sold. Then tells me that **** doesn't even work there, he works at a sister site. Tries to upsell me another car, we pull it up online, price is $28,998 with dealer discounts, but then come to find out we don't qualify for any of those dealer discounts (there is no mention on the website about qualifying for discounts, they just advertise them to make people think they are getting them). This $28,998 car turns into over $36K. What scam artists these people are. They didn't even blink an eye or act apologetic over the supposed misinformation that **** gave us or the dealer discounts....which is because this is how they operate so they are numb to the customer's reactions now. Needless to say, we walked out and wasted 5 hours of driving.Review from John B

We went to the Old Orchard Nissan Dealer in ****** IL. We were greeted and provided the Model of the car we were interested in. They told us to wait in the customer lounge. 15 mins we still hadnt been helped and were finally assigned a salesman. We told the salesman, *********************************, the car we wanted to see and he pulled it up and the car was over $3,000 higher than advertised. The 15 mins we waited was the dealer changing the price of the vehicle on their website. Luckily I still had it up on my phone. When I refreshed the webpage it said I had to call for the price. We also called *****, an employee at Old Orchard Nissan, prior to our arrival we confirmed the car was in stock and verified the price. Im glad I was so savvy, but their predatory practices definitely have gotten to individuals who thought the dealer was trustworthy. ********************************* was very deceptive and started yelling at us when we decided that we didnt want to buy a car. I highly recommend avoiding ********************************* and the Old Orchard Nissan.Review from Kristoffer K

I purchased a vehicle here. When going through the numbers, this business marked up a piece of paper with the price of the vehicle, my trade in value, taxes and additional fees they had. Upon negotiating prices and add-ons, we came to an agreement on vehicle price and trade in value. I told them I agree to the price assuming the taxes listed were correct. They would not write up a sales contract until we agreed on the pricing. Unfortunately for me, when they did write up the contract, they wrote in that they were giving me close to 4k less for my trade in than we spoke about. After a 15 hour long day, I didn't notice this detail, as the final number (after taxes and such) matched what we spoke about. The next morning I reviewed the contract and I saw they baited switch. Additionally, this place wanted to hold a credit card in order to write up any contract, and they made it extremely difficult to get it back until after the sale commenced. They also lied overtly and stated we can only use their financing and also stated you had to wait 4 months to refinance. To top all that, they didn't provide any information for the purchased gap insurance. Absolutely horrible experience here.Review from Greg L

I started working with their sister store 1.5 months earlier with pre-approval and discussed down payment, out the door price, etc. upon arrival from out of state and 12 hours of travel nobody seemed aware of my situation as promised. To my shock, the vehicle's price was $4600 higher than advertised due to a processing fee. They insisted it was non-negotiable and required their financing be used, which contradicted prior confirmations. As such my credit union's funds were deemed unacceptable, and they refused a card for the down payment, despite previous confirmations. Feeling baited and switched, I left frustrated. Without my knowledge my mother intervened, threatening complaints to BBB/ATG of ******** I returned following. They demanded my credit union wire funds, which they don't do. After much back-and-forth, I had to wire funds from a different bank for the down payment and was able to get the dealership to agree to a cashiers check shipped overnight from my ************* Due to shipping deadlines, I ended up stranded in ******* for over 5 days, as the dealership refused to release the vehicle without the physical check. When funds finally cleared, I was met with more frustration and 5 unanswered phone calls about how to proceed. When I arrived to retrieve the vehicle it wasn't charged with L2 and DC quick chargers on site. Back home, I faced more issues with titling and registration. Despite numerous calls, progress was slow, and expiration loomed. Communication from both the dealership and third-party registration company was lacking. The 3rd party registration company finally submitted title docs 25 days before expiry. Now here we are, 1 day before, no tabs.Review from Lou I

Have not bought a new vehicle for 10 years. I went in to Old Orchard Nissan on a whim and was looking for a Titan that I saw on their site. **** made the process quick easy and was fully upfront with the negotiations and made sure I understood every step of the transaction. He was very accommodating and friendly , also made sure to get me refreshments and even got me some food. Wow!!
