On 5/20/22 I called Thames Garage Door Repair to open my garage door because my remote had been stolen from my car while I was in Wal-Mart in ***********. After the work was done to my satisfaction, I paid $328 for the service with my Chase debit card. I received a receipt. Latter on the same day, I received an on line receipt that: 1) had my correct name 2) had. an incorrect address, it was not my address where the work had taken place. (***** *********************, *******, ** 60438.)I called the company late that night and was told the matter would be taken care of on Monday 5/23, it was not. I called Tuesday, 5/24 and I am still waiting for the address correction to be resolved, it has not been. I am a senior citizen and this is part of the scam to get control of my ********** account by using my name with a different address to move my account to the incorrect address listed above. In addition, what also appeared suspicious were the many different telephone numbers they use: *******************) ****************)************ When I try calling# 2/#3 the message says the box is full so I could not leave a message. On 5/23 I spoke to a man from Garage Door Repair and he said he was familiar with the problem but has yet to resolve the address issue. I suspect the delay in resolving the incorrect address is tied to them having time to do whatever they need to do to gain access to my bank account by putting in a change of address or whatever else crooks do to gain access to my Chase account.
