On January 8, 2022, I went into Scrubs Etc store in **********, **, to purchase scrubs for my daughter as we had purchased scrubs there 2 years prior. I was informed that they didnt have them in stock and they could order them and ship them to my daughter in *********. I paid for the item using my debit card. The amount was $63.94. This amount cleared my bank account on January 10th. I was told by the young man (blonde hair, tattoos) behind the counter that the scrubs would be shipped to my daughter in 2 weeks. The item was never received and the store has now closed down.Initial Complaint

I ordered scrubs on 12/22/2021 and was told that I would receive a text in 3 weeks to pick up my scrubs. 3 weeks came and went and still no text. I called the store multiple times and it went to voicemail with message box full. It has now been almost 2 months and still nothing. I drove there to see if they were open and theres a sign saying closed due to Covid outbreak. I ended up calling the ********************* and no answer so escalated it to **************************** and they told me that they think they are permanently closed. I dont understand how a company can take peoples money and never give the product or inform their customers that they would be permanently closed.Initial Complaint

Placed a specialty order on December 12, 2021 for scrub pants with Scrubs Etc Inc due to their storefront not having the size and color I needed at the time. Was never told an expected date of delivery for my order to be able to pick up from their store. 2 weeks post my order placement I still had not heard anything from the store about my order arriving. On January 14, 2022 I called Scrubs Etc Inc to inquire about my order and was sent to voicemail by the company. Voicemail message claimed that the store was closed due to a case of Covid spreading through the storefront as of January 7, 2022 and that their store would be temporarily closed until their employees were cleared from quarantine; as well their voicemail said that they would respond back quickly to messages. I left a voicemail asking them to call me back with an update on my order placed in December of 2021. About a week and a half later towards the end of January *************************************** Villa Park to find it still closed and I tried calling back to Scrubs Etc Inc with no one answering their phone and this time their voicemail would not accept any messages to be left. I promptly afterward in January of 2022 sent an email via their contact us page on their website providing my email and asked them to give me an update on my order that I still had not received from them that was 1 month outstanding at this point. Now on 2/4/2022 I have heard that as of 1/7/2021 Scrubs Etc went out of business and filed for bankruptcy on the same day they claimed to be temporarily closed with people sick from Covid. I also was told that the owner of Scrubs Etc Inc since the beginning of November 2021 stopped placing orders that customers were paying for but was still processing and taking customers' money with no intention to fulfill his obligation of the orders paid for. So at the time in December 2021 when I placed and paid $79.49 for my scrub pant order with Scrubs Etc Inc they knew they were stealing.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction- 1/6/2022 Total spent- Around $200 Items- scrubs for my job I went to scrubs etc on 1/6/2022 to place a scrub order for my job. I bought two coats and two pants. These had to be ordered because they didn't have any in stock. They said it would take up to two weeks because I needed it embroidered with my hospital logo. Since then I haven't heard anything from this company. I called them on 1/13/2022 their voicemail said they are closed due to covid outbreak in the store and were calling people back. It's now 2/3/2022 I have called 5 times with no call back and now their mail box is full. There are many reviews of people not receiving their items back from December. You also cannot get onto their website. Everyone needs to get reimbursed for their items placed and not received but you cannot get ahold of anyone. Please help with this problem because it is not okay.Initial Complaint

On 12/6/21, I purchased scrubs for $209.95. I was told they would be in the store in 7 to 10 days and that I would receive a call when they got in. I never received a phone call. I called the store at the end of December, spoke with a man who said they still hadnt come in and to call back if I didnt hear from them. I called a week later, on 1/7/22 and received a voicemail stating there was a covid outbreak in the store and it was going to be closed completely, but to leave a message as they listen to and will return messages. I never received a call back. On 1/10, I called again and received the same voicemail. I left a voicemail again asking for a return phone call and to get my money back for the scrubs that I never received. I still never got a phone call back. Ive never received such terrible business from a store. They sold the merchandise to me just to get my money and had no intentions on actually getting the scrubs to me. I am very disappointed in this store and will spread the word of the service I received.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for 3 sets of scrubs and paid $204.77 on December 2, 2021. I was told not all pieces would arrive by Christmas and was given a date of 1/7. I stopped in store on 1/9 and was told everything was on back order. I stopped by store on 1/20 and an undated sign was on the door saying store closed due to COVID. The sign still remains on 1/28, voicemail is not accepting messages. I am out $200 with no way to get the product or a refund.
