I placed an order for takeout for my office. I was not told the price over the phone just the time that it was going to take to be ready. Once I arrived at the store, a customer was given the total of my order. The cashier then realized it was my order and took my payment. I asked her to give the list of prices of each item because my co-wokers were paying me back for their item. I realized when I arrived at work that they overcharged me, the total amount for the iteam all together was 54 dollars I added a few dollars more to include taxes. Still, it was too much as I was charged on my card 68 dollars. We called to see what their taxes system is and was told that they charge 15% for their takeout. I was not told this over the phone nor in person. It was not stated in the receipt as well. I noticed that their website is not working in order to check for prices online as we checked their menu based on the ****** reviews and photos that other customers have uploaded before we ordered. A business can change their prices but this was a price discrepancy that they failed to mention. The charges were not told to me before and after the order. They charged me more without my consent and knowledge with this takeout percentage. I tried talking to the owner but instead got a man named ******, who is the owner's brother. I never received a call back from the owner as I was told he will give me a call back within the hour. I have done my research and saw that other clients in the past have also had this issue. They were able to get away with over charging people without their knowledge. These charge are fraudulent and deceiving especially with inflation going on at this time. The cashier ***** was very dismissve and condescending when talking to me, was not trying to help me at all. This establishment has been lying and profiting off customers by charging them fees not written on their menu or on a sign for everyone to see.
