This summer we hired F&C to do our patio. We chose a very standard design, but we wanted garden beds on two ends. We paid F&C $382.50 extra to have a few more inches of soil dug out on each side of the patio and to fill it with good topsoil for a garden bed.Within days after completion of the patio, we noticed that what we had thought was mud on our house was actually a gash in the siding...right where F&C had dug the patio. Separately, the good topsoil that F&C provided bloomed up, forming hundreds of weeds, completely ruining the garden. Some weeds are unavoidable, we understand this, but this was not good topsoil by any reasonable understanding. We contacted F&C about the damage and the soil. They offered only to pour more good topsoil and refused to acknowledge the damage to our home. We then asked for them to submit the damage to their insurance, at which point they stopped communicating with us.We ask for a refund of the extra monies paid for the garden bed and the cost of repairing/replacing the damaged siding with a matching color.Initial Complaint

We contracted this company back on April 22, ************************************************************* our backyard. I needed to contact the company multiple times for updates on the process instead of them keeping us updated. The patio was finally completed on June 7, 2022 with poor quality work evidenced by uneven sections and lines, and in multiple areas the pitch is going towards the foundation of the house. Hence, the patio did not pass the final inspection from the village we live in. We have received poor customer service when trying to communicate with the company. They have been rude and provided us with false information, for example, being licensed with the village we live in. The patio company stated that this was not their first patio and is asking us for additional monies to redo the patio (correct their mistakes). We do not feel that we should have to pay more money and the company is liable to provide a patio that passes final inspection and adheres to Village codes in the first place. We would like a refund of the 50% deposit that we provided and for the company to remove the patio as we will find a reputable company that will install a proper patio.
