Took it upon themselves to modify our original contract and use our $790 escrow surplus to pay off the personal property taxes that we agreed to pay monthly per the contract. Our request for for further information and explanation was ignored.Business response

After we received the complaint, we left VMs for both #s on file for these residents. At this point we have yet to hear back from them. Please see the attached response which we just sent to the Resident as well.

Complaint: 19631966I am rejecting this response because: contrary to their claims of nonresponse, I followed up with a response email to *************************** on April 14th and have not received a response from him. I did receive a call today during my work hours but the office was closed when I got off of work.Its still unclear as to why our mortgage payment went up by $30. According to the statement they sent us in January of 2023, they used the escrow surplus to obtain the title but the title was obtained by them in April 2022. I would like a full and clearly printed copy of our escrow account dating from the beginning of our loan to the current date as the print out they originally sent was blurry and unreadable for the months of November 2021- October of 2022. A good resolution would be to return our escrow surplus to the escrow account and return our monthly mortgage payment back to the $516. The fact still remains that they changed the terms of our contract without giving us any options.Sincerely,*******************Business response
