I was mowing my lawn when the oil cap exploded off at the end of May 2022. We took it to Bendle Lawn Equipment because they had good reviews. We called every few weeks to get an update and got a different story each time. One week it was oh we are waiting on a part the next time wed call it was oh we havent even been able to look at it. One time I called and said hey its been a couple months since youve had my mower which they tried to tell me theyd had it only a couple weeks. Finally in mid SEPTEMBER I get my mower back supposedly good to go. I go home, put fresh gas in it (from the same place Ive gotten gas from for years) and mow my lawn. The blades take a few seconds to start but the mower seems ok. Finish most of the yard but have to turn the blades off to get to a part of my yard surrounded by gravel. When I go to turn the blades on, they dont work. I park it overnight with the plan of taking it back to bendle in the morning. The next morning I turn the mower on and the blades fire up, I finish the yard and decide just to put it in the shed, but while driving to the shed the mower just dies and wont restart. Bendle sent someone out to tow the mower back to the shop, I hadnt even had the mower back 24 hours. A week later we get a call saying the mower is done and we owe roughly $160. When I asked why we owed anything I got told I put bad gas in it. They had my mower for four months, charged me over $300 and then when it didnt work they charged me another $160 and said it was my fault.
