Purchased lazy boy furniture in March 2020 for $6398.33. This price included a $500 protection plan sold by Stahl's saying it would cover any accidental damage to the furniture for 5 years. We have had 3 claims, none which the protection company says is covered. The assistance we have gotten from Stahl's has been broken promises to call, get ** help on coverage and also to get a leather pen to cover the seams (see pictures) which we never received. We would like a $500 refund for the purchase of a protection plan that is basically a fraud as it doesn't cover what was promised to ** at the time of purchase. I have always been opposed to protection plans but ******* sole this with false promises of covering damages that clearly are not covered,Business response

This is a forwarding of an email from our CCS warranty representative. This warranty covers accidental damage, Stahl furniture does not nor do we claim to.
I can send them to service as a courtesy to try and repair but we can not go further. They have reported multiple non covered claims. Her first claim we sent a tech for seam separation. The tech reported that it was peeling and the leather was becoming very brittle. He reported it was not a seam separation. The second claim was for a structure issue where the console was indented. I called ** on this one due to the structure and he said do not service under the extra service we did because she was out of her 1st yr. This last claim was for an unknown surface abrasion. I did ask her several times if she knew how it happened and she said she had no idea. It was reviewed and it is the leather peeled off. This is why she had non coverages. I have went over the warranty with her each time. However, I will send to service for a courtesy only.

Bought a sofa from Stahl 's furniture in bloomington,In. after the first 8 mo's the arm broke down on the sofa. we have been trying to get it repaired, but just getting the run around for the last 6 mo;s...Sofa was only 8 mo;s old when this happen in Oct, of 2021
