I hired Homewell Remodeling, to replace a asphalt roof on my home and ********* signed a electronic signature with the owner ******************* *******************. I gave him a $800.00 down deposit. Approximately 3 days later, *** texts me and asks for $3500. *** texts and says ****, I can not make it to meet you to collect the $3500. Can my uncle come by and get it? I said yes. I met **** uncle the owner ************************* at ****************************************. I asked and pleaded with ***** to do me a good job. I messed up and didnt look at his reviews before I signed the contract with Homewell **** Once I gave ***** the check, *** texts me and says the roofers will be there Wednesday. Wednesday came and went. I called ***, he doesnt answer. I texted him and asked why the roofers didnt show up. *** said, that was just the day for the material drop. We will be tomorrow Thursday. Homewell sent a crew of approximately 12 guys. When the job was done at the end of the day, I did not get a phone call or a text. I decided, I will try calling and texting ***** the owner and find out. I did not get an answer until 10:46 pm at night. ***** texts me and says yes we are done and would like our money tomorrow. The next day, I had my nephew, which stays in my house go out and take pictures of all the damage they did to my property. I showed the pictures to ***** and he told me it is too far to go back and correct anything!Initial Complaint

I have a leaking NEW roof. Well its actually 9 months old now, but its been leaking almost from day one. After the first rain after install. I have tried to get HomeWell, *** to correct the issue since that first rain after installing my new roof on my garage. Nov 2021. I paid them in full since the job was complete. My contacts are ************************* and *********************. The roof leaked down upon my car and left a terrible residue of some dark gooey stuff (glue?) chemical that I had to have buffed off my windows and paint. It cost $495.00 to have that done. (It will need to be done again though). They also overcharged me $264.12. Total due me is $759.12 + replacement of roof. I have emails and text messages about all this as well. I have text messages, emails and log of all my calls to them, as late as today. I don't know what else to do. They will not call or return text messages for weeks and then they always have an excuse. (some text messages attached) lastly, I was told that they were broke and had no funds to complete my job. I have been fighting this battle for almost a year, they tried to patch my NEW roof a couple times and it's not working because they did not install it correctly from the start. I have the proposal for the entire job which includes the house, the garage is a flat roof not shingles and they did not separate it out cost wise. I'm not sure how to get this resolved. Can you help? I will attach pictures from inside my garage of the leak, outside of the garage where they tried to patch a hole with some black gooey stuff, the damage to my car and the proposal of the job. I can get the credit card transfers if needed to prove its paid in full. Thank you for anything you can do to rectify this issue.
