It's 2024, not 1944. I contacted them via their website (05/30/2024), to request a call back and quote for repair of roof damage to my house from a recent storm. The next morning (05/31/2024), a customer representative named ******* called me. I was glad to hear from him and was happy to provide my address and availability to arrange an appointment for someone to come out to provide a repair quote. Rather than promptly arrange for the roof inspection by telling me times and dates he could send someone out; ******* began asking probing questions like whether I worked nights or days. I explained that I could work out the time, once I knew when they could come out. Rather than give me some appointment options, out of the blue, he then asked if my husband would be present during the quote (even though I had may no mention of a spouse). So, I restated that I was the homeowner. He then explained (as if it was the year 1944), that he was just trying to make sure the decision-maker was present during the quote. What?! If ******* had asked appropriate questions like, "Are you the homeowner or will you be the decision-maker for this repair work?" and "Do you expect to need financing?", he would have learned I was the decision-maker, own multiple properties (all in potential need of their services) and pay cash. His presumption that I was unemployed because I could meet anytime, and assumption that if I was unemployed, I must also be married to a male, are very dated chauvinistic biases. I would ask Jeff Home Improvement to re-train ******** Thankfully, generations have passed since salespersons assumed when a woman calls for repair work, she has a male spouse, is setting up an appointment for her spouse, and/or she is not the decision-maker.Business response

I have Jeff Home Improvement to install windows on my mobile home. 3 men show up last week to install the windows. The men did not know what they were doing. Going to send another man out to see if he can install the windows. In the men time, I found almost a whole strip of siding was not install on back the right way. To me if a business did not have or know someone to install windows, just let the coustmer know. I live in a mobile home one window they took out put back in and now when you close the window slides down. Thank you ******* *******Business response

Thank you for your business & thank you for calling us back for another project on your home. As you know by now, on Thursday/Friday we had John, from previous projects with you, back on the job and he completed your window installation last week: I believe one or two days after we first started. The vinyl siding was a product of the manufacture and replacing the windows revealed they had used a piece of siding that was to short. We spent considerable time around the metro Louisville area tracking down a piece of siding to match as good as possible and also installed that. Sometimes things don't always go according to plan but just like thousands of other customers for over 30 years have found out, we will make sure everything is right. Again we really appreciate your business and its always a pleasure for our team to work with repeat customers like you. If you still have questions or concerns feel free to call me anytime Monday -Saturday 8am - 8pm. I want you to be happy with the finished products and services we have provided for you. *************
