My mechanic ordered a camshaft for a 2018 *** Terrain SLE on 12/27/23 from the parts **** at Christi Hubler Chevrolet. My mechanic has been told it couldn't ship due to weather, then lost, then a manufacturer's problem. I called the *** line & put in a complaint. I've paid $1400 to rent a car for 30 days & then had to return it due to cost. I've been without my vehicle since 12/27/23. I found out yesterday that the part was just ordered on 1/25/24 even though I've been told it's been ordered already. It now is shipping to the processing department and won't arrive there until 2/9/24. After that, there is no ETA on when it will get to ******************* mechanic. Christi Hubler will not tell me why my part was not ordered until 1/25/24, a month after they were to order it. I am going to have to rent a vehicle again after working from home a couple of weeks. Without any ETA, I am not able to rent indefinitely. I just want truthful answers instead of being told different things and being shuffled by different people.Customer response

Attached are emails from *** w/Christi Hubler Chevrolet showing the part was ordered 12/27/2023 and all the delays.
Also is a document showing the part is to be in transit and at the processing center 2/14/2024 but *** with GMC Regional stated the part hasn't shipped.

I purchased a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan from Christi Hubler Chevrolet in Crawfordsville IN on July 2, 2022. I had made a verbal commitment to them on the 29th of June. They told me it would be fully detailed and ready for pickup and for me to sign the contract on the 30th. My salesman told me he would drive the van to me and drive me back to the dealership for signing. I had to go to the dealership unannounced on July 2nd and found out the van has not been touched. It was dirty on the inside, and none of the paperwork was ready. They quickly worked me in, and explained, "there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and you can have it now. We'll get it ready for you." After signing I drove it away. The next day my engine light came on. I work for an Automotive Company, and was able to check the code myself. I took pictures of the code, and called my salesman immediately. I cannot drive the car without going into the Red on the tachometer. Currently it is overheating. I have text messages from both the salesman and a friend who helped me navigate transportation after I dropped off the van for inspection on 7/6; again requiring me to show up unannounced after not receiving any reply. I was told that they had replaced a solenoid B seal. I took my van in a second time on 7/27 after that work failed to fix the issue the same code continued to come up. These are transmission codes. This vehicle type is know to have a solid state transmission. This means that parts cannot be replaced individually. There were codes cleared from the system on a known transmission issue prior to the sale, without disclosure to myself the customer. It should be considered a pre-existing condition. The entire system in this case should be considered for replacement. I brought this to the attention of the owner of the dealership via the service department manager. I was lied to by that manager, and told "We cannot replicate the issue."Initial Complaint

Approximately 6 months ago I purchased a truck from this business and they still have not provided me with a title after numerous conversations
