We had the exterior of our house painted in May of 2021 by Certa-Pro. The cost to paint the home was $10,290. After less than a year, on multiple areas on the outside of our home, the paint is peeling, chipped or just missing. It looks poor. I have owned four homes, one of them being part of the harsh northern ******** weather, and I have never seen paint come off this much. Knowing I have a two year warranty, my wife called Certa-Pro multiple times to have an employee come out to assess the damage, and multiple times her phone calls was not returned. Finally, we got a hold of them and one of their employees, *******************, came out to look at the home. My wife was at home for the visit. He was thirty minutes late without notice. The appointment was supposed to be at 8 am because my wife had an appointment at 9:15 am. When he arrived, he spent around two-minutes looking at the paint on the exterior of the home. Within those two-minutes, he immediately decided the damage was due to harsh weather and normal wear and tear and would not be covered under the warranty. My wife told him this was an unacceptable response. After less than a year, there is no reason that the paint work should be this damaged. He kept making excuses and blaming it on water, snow, and wind directions. My wife told him that she expected them to stand behind their work, and she would not be recommending their company to her friends and local acquaintances. I also tried to call Certa-Pro myself on July 10th, but I have not heard back from them.
