      I went and bought a mower paid **** cash the wife was busy so the young man and husband helped me, when I said I wasn't interested in m anything they had he took me inside to a mower that was still being worked on , explained to me how they get used mowers fix them up service them completely and how if anything was wrong they'll work with me to get it fixed starts the mower automatically oil , he said how it wasn't washed and he was sure it was off the frame where he'd serviced it guaranteeing me he'd have perfect when delivered.his wife delivered.. I rode to the corner and back of my street got to my driveway and couldn't get the blades to engage after several attempts it finally engaged , I mowed 1 strip by the road turned made a second approach just as I was getting to the grass a horrible noise ,smoke and burned rubber smell. I called immediately she was still in her delivery truck explained she then called me back said they'd come pick it up same night, she then called same night to tell me a bag a rope twine and some chicken wire were around the spindle and I needed to pay for any repairs... They knew and im saying I live in the city in a neighborhood no chickens no horses but yet ****** image of the bag said it's either horse or chicken feed .. They insist it's on me , like in 8 feet I ran over all 3 of those things I told them I'd pay for the repair as it was my fault for not making the wife mow with it when she dropped it and just give me my money back sell the mower to anyone else they refused 8 took the pictures they sent me to an honest mower repair and they told me those people know they are lying as those pictures show it's old rope and bags stuck in dirt and grass all dried up like a previous year it's obvious from their pictures they never touched the underside of the deck and he'd have no problem saying that on court .. but they aren't worth more of my time or money for court action they need closed they are nice enough to con everyone in our area

      Dear *****,

         It has come to my attention that you are not satisfied with your recent purchase (of the used 46 Cub Cadet XT1)and you are requesting a refund.

        We completely understand how it feels to buy something used and find it needs repaired. That is why when you originally informed us that there was an issue we immediately came to pick up it up. Unfortunately, upon inspection and reviewing documentation we have on file we found deck issues happened due to someone mowing and running over items(coated wiring and etc). The main item to cause the most issues was the metal wiring with black coating. When we called and spoke with you and told you about the issue you admitted that the coated wire found was from your yard. We were attempting to help you fix the rider but then you started to raise your voice and proceeded to hang up, which does not help ** help you. Being as the situation was heightened and we could not come to a resolution, we ate cost for pick up and delivery. We did remove all the items found caught up under your deck and delivered mower back. Neither he nor I want you to feel like we sold you something broken. We do our best to throughly inspect everything and everything leaves in full operating order. If anything is found during inspection it is addressed and repaired before leaving our shop.

      You are claiming to be unhappy with your purchase, yet unwilling to be civil with us. We went out of our way and promptly picked up mower when we heard it had issues. We attempted to work with you but its difficult to deal with someone who becomes very hostile. So its not as though you were duped as you are trying to portray, in all of your negative reviews.

      We have included photos of mower when delivered which shows fencing. The fencing shown in photo does look like metal wiring found underneath deck which weve also included photos of.

         That being said, we are unable to refund your money and our decision stands final.

      Thank you,
               ***** and ************;

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      You are correct when someone buys something for **** cash sale so you can avoid paying state taxes and it never runs people aren't happy. 1st let's start with a mower deck she insists is bad when it isn't another lie told by this company, she told me it was bad  it was my fault but after further inspection the pictures she supplied shows an unmaintainced  deck. I have wrote them within hours of them picking the mower up to explain a ****** image search says that bag is a chicken or horse feed and I was in no way responsible but I'd pay for the spindle if they'd cancel the sale. Instead she dropped the mower off while I wasn't home. Not as a favor to me but because they knew I didn't want the mower back and wasn't going to pay them anyway After a week of rain and cold weather I went to move the mower and the gas was completely empty and in the crank case I sent them a  picture time date and location stamped. I hired a mechanic who changed the oil, checked the deck nothing was wrong with the deck that they said was bad but the fuel pump was bad , the carburetor was the wrong one and a solenoid wire was pinched and exposed. When I went to pick up the mower the mechanic said he had called them to find out what carburetor they put on and he said they started cussing him out and speaking to him horribly, seems by my experience and other BBB complaints her go to is to Say the customer is rude in order to close off communication when the customer calls them out on being liers and selling junk]

      Regards,

      ***********************
