We paid for the exterior of our house to be jet washed and painted. He broke parts of our siding with his ladder and missed out big areas. He agreed to come back on another date to finish the job but it has been excuse after excuse. This has been going on since march. We have a written contract he says was drawn up by his attorney.

This job was scheduled and duties performed on the specific dates between both parties. There was some follow up painting that needed address during the final walk around between Recovery Painting owner, myself, and the homeowner. I explained that we will have to come back out and address any touch*** as they are warratied for 1 year from the service start date. The excuse after excuse that she is referring to is as follows: my father died, we was on other jobs, her son was injured and they was at the hospital non stop and Recovery Painting was not trying to be a nuisance or a bother during their time of healing then I fell off a ladder and have been off work for 9 weeks now. Which brings us to date today where I am still off work until further notice. As soon as the doctor releases me back to work their house along with their neighbors house are the first jobs getting touch *** done. We did not damage any part of her house in which I have the messages to prove that the siding was damaged and we was told to just paint over it. We will not be held responsible for the siding as we did not damage it. We will however hey back to her property to finish the day after I am released back to work. Thanks

I am rejecting this response because:

I have been waiting since April 1st for a date and recently I have not even been getting a reply at all. This also is happening with our neighbour across the road who booked him off our booking. I think 6 months is a reasonable time frame for him to have been able to finish the job. I understand things come up but 6 months is too long especially when he could have also send some of the workers to finish the job and I also saw him advertise in June on ******** for more work. We now want a refund and we will get someone else to finish the job. I dont believe he will say a date and stick to it, each time he hasnt turned up he never messaged to say why until I chased it up after.

Recovery Painting and Remodeling LLC will provide a partial refund for what work customer is stating that is not completed in full. As I do have pictures of the entire property at completion of work, when customer paid in full for services rendered. Contract clearly states that once services are complete and customer is completely satisfied the remaining balance is to be paid in full by customer. That balance was paid in full which states customer was satisfied with work done. However, Recovery Painting and Remodeling LLC will try its best to make any customer happy so we will refund customer in the amount of $400 so she can hire someone else to touchup and paint the 2 small areas that was missed during the original painting process. If this is not satisfactory to the customer then we will refer her to ********************** business attorney for further communication
