My daughter got in a wreck on March 30. She was taken to the hospital the cops are the ones who called the wrecker service and had them pick up the car. We did not choose to have the vehicle towed to Copples but I'm assuming that's just who they used because they were the closest. We spent the rest of the day at the hospital with my daughter. We went to the wrecker the next morning to get her personal belongings out of the vehicle. Her phone and things like that. They told us we had to pay the tow fee which is $150 and the admin fee which is $50 before we could get any of her things out. We didn't want the car. The car is totaled. Why would I pay $200 when I'm not even the one who wanted the car towed there. The next business day we came back and they told us they have took all her belongings out of the car but still could not give them to us. So they have my daughters personal belonging in their possession until we pay the $200. How is that even legal? If I did that I would get charged with theft. It's not their property and they won't give it back.Business response

I had my car towed by them with no warning. I had a house fire and my car was parked at my husband's friend house. They said they sent out a notice but it went to the house that we no longer lived in due to the house fire! I proceeded to ask them if I could get my kids stuff out of it that was the remainder from the fire! They're trying to charge me 150$ to get my stuff out. The manager ***** proceeded to call me a ***** on the phone and told me to **** off and kept hanging up on me. Something needs to be done!!Business response
