The vinyl this company installed was junk! After removing the vinyl the owner refused to pay for my scratched deck lid to be repaired! I have proof of messages of him attempting to (fix) it but it is not done right! I want my car back the way it was before they screwed it up!

He had explained if he liked the work he would be requesting more done to his vehicle.  ***** reached out again on April 1st to confirm appointment and asked if the price was $300 for the hood. $200 for top and $125 for the trunk lid. He was then corrected to the $350 estimate. To which he responded, Ok Cant hate a guy for trying js lol trying to get a deal for all of it js. I then offered to take $25 off if that would work for him. He agreed, then asked about the total price for the hood, the trunk, and the top and he was then quoted for an additional $200.  ***** then agreed to do all the work but needed more time to come up with the payment and was excited to be able to learn how to wrap his vehicle. April 21th 2024 ***** arrived and I did a carbon fiber wrap with the brand Vvivid Xpo commercial graphics series on his hood and deck lid. (Trunk). ***** insisted on helping take the fin off his vehicle. He noted that he was getting the wrap done to cover scratches on the deck lid that had been there for a long time. ***** offered to trade a bicycle in exchange for the wrap job to which I declined. There were no is***s with applying the wrap and he was satisfied with the work which he stayed the whole time to watch being done. ***** paid $300. April 27th 2024 at 8:39 P.M. ***** had texted my personal number wanting to see if I would be able to put tint on his headlights to which I agreed.  May 5th 2024 ***** arrived at the shop to have the roof of his vehicle done. I put on the wrap for the roof while ***** watched and was happy with the work. There was no is***s and he paid $200. May 9th 2024 ***** reached out via text message with a complaint about a seem line on the trunk from the wrap job. I replied that I would be available Sunday to help fix the is**** May 10th 2024 ***** reached out again saying that he had used a wax on his vehicle which caused the carbon wrap to discolor and seeing if I would fix it Sunday. I agreed to be able to fix it no problem on Sunday. He had responded that the wrap was peeling and that if he can not wax his vehicle that he needs to fix it or remove it all to back to the way he had it and would want a refund. I replied that I understood and ensure that I can fix it or I can remove it all and refund him. He agreed and said it is fine if it is fixable. May 10th 2024 ***** reached out again stating he needed it done early since it was Mothers day. To which I responded that I had forgotten it was Mothers day and could not complete the job, but that I could get him in tomorrow if he has time. He agreed to around 5:00 P.M. I thanked him for his patience and understanding. May 11th 2024 ***** arrived at the shop and was offered to redo the wrap, but he had changed his mind about keeping the wrap because of the discoloration and felt it was not fixable. ***** was removing his decklid and the wrap on the fin. *****************, my shop assistant noticed scratches under the wrap to which ***** stated that they were already there before. All of the wrap was removed, and he was refunded for everything. $500. There was no is***s or complaints. He thanked me for everything and appreciated the work. May 11th 2024 later that day ***** had reached out via text thanking me for the work again and apricated the flexibility. He had also noted that I had forgotten to do the headlights. Claiming the vehicle had to be in prestige condition. He then requested that I either put the carbon wrap back on at no cost or that I pay what his friends shop what it would cost to repaint his vehicle. I asked him to call to solve the is*** but he did not want to call and wanted to keep everything in texts so they can be useable.  More texts were sent that was not received until later that he then said the quote would be around $1500-$1600 to repaint since it was called **** Red requesting that I pay half or he will take the is*** to the court house. June 24th ***** reached out via ******** messenger wanted to know why I was ignoring him. I let him know I tried calling and he was not answering and that he kept saying he was busy. He then accused me of blocking his number and playing games with him. He demanded we come to an agreement on payment or he will **** I then informed him that he can then contact a lawyer at that point and proceeded to not engage any further.  Since those messages he has sent more intimidating messages demanding money or going to **** He then sent 2 letters to my business. One was a Demand letter for payment that he filled out himself as an Attempt to collect a debt quoting now $2,975.00 for not responding to ***** about claimed damages. In the letter it also states it will be sent to collections and wanted the payment of $2,000.00 to be paid by June 30th, 2024. The second letter was a Letter of intent to *** with the payment of $3,000.00. with it being an offer to cure and/or settle the matter outside of court and avoid a lawsuit.
