UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE USE THIS SERVICE. Every plant I ordered came either rotten (far too much water and a soaked box), moldy, broken, dry (ironic since half the box was wet) or dead In some other fashion. Three boxes were shipped, one never arrived, the ones that did took 4 months to even ship, and one box was half full of what I ordered. I was effectively screwed out of almost $200. A (outsourced) supervisor got me my money back in credit, and the next year I ordered all bulbs. Every one of them were dried or rotten again. I can only imagine the greenhouse conditions. Stay away from this company. It took 10 WEEKS for them to fulfil my order of which some arrived dead.They are awful i had to constantly email them over and over .I thought they were a scam. They are pretty close to being one.STAY AWAYReview from Patricia D.

Ordered 109.97 worth of product from this company and received an order a few weeks later. The 18-24 1/2" Mulberry trees I ordered were 8" twigs. Thats not what I ordered. The paw paw trees were 24" sticks. I followed directions for planting, after 2 months of care, nothing. No signs of growth, no leaves and completely dead. Emailed the company, no response. Called the company, and was told by someone that refunds are not their policy, and that they had already credited my account. I did not receive a phone call, an email or text regarding this "resolution", and they refused to refund my money. Now I have over $100 in garbage credit for a garbage company.Review from MICHELLE A

Please stay far far away from this company D/B/A ******* ************* They are nothing but liars. I ordered over $250 worth of plants in April with the dates of delivery that they said I would receive them was **** The only reason I ordered is because I had done business with them before and had fine service and the dates, they said would be delivered would be first week of **** Just when things should be planted. Every day I would log in and the dates would get pushed out. 2 months later I still have no plants. I log in today at 9:00 and they said delivery June 6th, I log in an hour later the date changed to June 7th, I then log in again and the dates got changed to June 9th-12th all within 3 hrs. It is now a month behind planting season and 2 months since I ordered so I call customer service to cancel the order. They don't even ask why. I said "don't you want to know why I am canceling my order" he said "yes" so of course I was frustrated and went off on him about what a terrible, lying fraud company they are. I say... "I guess you just don't care about losing $280 worth of business" and no reply. Not even an apology or let me see what I can do for you, no effort to make a good customer happy or rectify their mistakes.... nothing! I know many nurseries use ******* and I will make it very clear I will not do any business with anyone who does business with *******. Save yourself the aggravation, time and money. ******* is the worst, and I will be yelling this on the top of my lungs. Now I have to go out and purchase everything from scratch but from a reputable business. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLEReview from Linda C

Do not order from this company. Terrible company. Dishonest. Placed an order in February for fencing, 8 packs of seeds, 2 bags of fertilizer and live plants (sweet potatoes and asparagus). The fencing arrived very quickly. In late April I received my first shipment of dead sweet potato plants. I called and a new shipment of sweet potato plants was sent out. Some of these may live. According to an email received from the company, the balance of my order was to ship no later than 4/17. Well, it is now 5/15 and still have not received the balance of my order. Was also told by a company rep that I could not have a refund. They would only issue a company credit. Why would I want a credit to a company that can't ship the products I've already ordered? Anyway, talked to a rep again on 5/15 and he was going to put a "rush" on my order. What a joke. My planting season is over. Maybe I'll have seeds for next year.Gardens Alive Response

Hello, Advise the customer via Email and Phone call that she will be refunded for the items that shipped too late to be planted as well as a portion of the shipping fees. Your money is better spent at local nurseries ******** seeds, ***** creek, **** savers exchange. I placed an initial order for strawberries in February of 2022 they finally arrived June of 2022 and we're dead. Multiple phone calls were made I finally got a credit and placed a second order for seed packets in March of 2023 and was told all items are in stock and would ship to me within 2 weeks. Second week of April I still don't have seed packets so I place another phone call and I'm told they will ship on April 17th. Today is April 28th and I still don't have seeds. I just got off the phone with Burgess and they do not have a ship date although they tell me that they're batched and should ship within the next few days I'm not holding my breath, and here I thought that they couldn't surely screw up seeds but again Burgess is proving me wrong.Review from Brenda G

Worst company ever. Last year I received dead plants from them and request a refund. I instead received a certificate for the amount that I could use later. I ordered using it this spring. I received a dead butterfly bush. I told to cancel the other plant I ordered using the cerificate and asked for a refund which they will not do. Do not order from this company. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from them.Review from Karen S

I put in an order for seeds March 14, 2023. (No live plants) When I placed the order, the delivery date for almost all the seeds was the week of March 20th. Every week I check the status and it is always a week later. I e-mailed a couple times and was just given a, "we are sorry", response. I finally called last Thursday, April 20th, and the representative said that she was contacting the warehouse, as I was on the phone, and having them send the seeds out today. She said that I would receive an email with the tracking number that day. It's Monday, April 24th, and I've yet to see the e-mail. I don't know if I'm more upset that my seeds still haven't been sent or that the representative lied to me. She was nice, but lying isn't the way to do business. Shame on her!Review from Shuching W

I ordered 3 worm factory system. Each one supposed include spigot, worm ladder, 3 stacking trays, lid,basic worm factory startup guide, shredded paper, numice p, rock dust, coir, handheld compost rake and scraper according to the Garden alive web site. But when I got the package only come with 3 trays. And I just found some one has been cheated by the same way. So trust 5 star or 4 star rating. I ordered a 5 in 1 peach tree. They sent me a dead stick with no branches whatsoever. I contacted the company with no response. Should have listened to the numerous other poor reviews.
