I purchased the circled item and then returned per their instructions for exchange. We received the attached email confirming the item received but nothing since. That was April 11th. My wife and i have tried calling numerous times but can not reach anyone or even a recording. Have also sent numerous emails with no response. We informed them in the last email that we would be contacting the BBB and even that did not get a response.Initial Complaint

We ordered 6 flag from American Legion Flag & Emblem on June 13, 2023 and have yet to receive them. We've called multiple times, sat on hold for lengthy amounts of time, and no one has ever answered the phone. All we want is our money back.Business response

We purchased 2 flags May 5, 2023 and today 9/6/23 have still not received them. We have tried to call a few times to the customer service number and the hold times are ridiculous. We have also emailed the customer service email with no response.At this point, we are simply wanting a refund.Business response

I ordered, on behalf of the local Legion Post, a few items needed for their Firing Squad. June 21, 2023 is the date of the invoice.The order was not complete, one item missing and one wrong item was shipped. I was charged the full amount. I have reached out to them by email x2. No response to resolve the issue. Just a notice that they received my email. I have called numerous times, put on hold for over 30 minutes each time. No person has ever answered the call.I need to order another shirt, the wrong size was sent, and get the pair of gloves not sent in original order that has been paid for.Business response

To this day, 9/9/23, I have had no contact from anyone at American Legion Flag and Emblem. Before reporting this problem to the BBB, I tried calling to speak with someone, anyone, numerous times. I was on hold for 30 minutes , at least , each time. No one ever answers. I also responded by text to their provided text space x 2. Just a auto response to that saying that they received my message .still waiting.need resolved as ********** in the Legion Post 186 needs the shirt for military funerals and the gloves are needed for winter funerals.

This has been resolved today!
I spoke with a supervisor at American Legion Flag and Emblem2 days ago.
She personally went to their warehouse to pull the needed items and had them sent by *** 2 day delivery.
I am satisfied with her help, although it took 3 months to complete . I was informed that they are very short staffed at this time.
I appreciate your help in resolving this problem.

I'm filing a complaint on here because it seems to be the only place to get this company's attention. I submitted Ticket #***** requesting an exchange from a large shirt to a medium shirt that I received with Order #********. I submitted that ticket on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 8:55PM EST. I requested a follow-up on July 14, 2023 at 7:33PM. I requested another follow-up on July 17, 2023 at 2:56PM. I then called the customer support line at ************** on July 18, 2023 at 12:32PM only to be placed on-hold for 26 minutes, only then to have the call picked up and then abruptly hung up on. I submitted a follow-up to Ticket #***** with what had occurred the same day on July 18 at 12:59PM. I reached out again a few hours later at 6:33PM to again request assistance and made them aware that this level of service was highly unethical for customer service, especially if tickets go unanswered for more than 48 hours and phone calls are hung up on. I reached out one last time on July 20, 2023 at 7:51AM to report that I will be filing a complaint. I submitted another ticket, ticket #***** at 11:58AM of the same day that I reported that I will be filing complaint as a last-ditch effort to get the company's attention to no avail. All I want is an exchange of my shirt for a smaller size (size medium) and I'm not going to give this company another cent for their highly priced items and I will also be reporting this to my post's leadership so that they're made aware of this company's very poor customer service standard. Please email me as it is the only guaranteed way of reaching me directly and I prefer to have our communications in writing. Thank you.Business response

Purchased products from ***************************** (umpire caps) on May 5. After waiting two weeks for the products (because of warehouse processing???), I realized that I needed to return two for the wrong size, my fault, and that I ordered two of the same color. So three items that I wanted to return. I emailed them, as specified on May 25. With no answer I emailed them again on June 1. I then waited until today to call them, hoping to reach someone. But it's just indefinite hold. What a sad state for such a great organization to treat customers and veterans like this. If you don't want to be in the merchandise business, outsource to a company that can handle it.Business response

As with all things related to Flag & Emblem, their attempts at reconciliation ring hollow. They have not "reached out to me directly" as stated in their response to the BBB complaint sent on Thursday, June 22nd. It has been two business days (Friday, June 23rd and Monday, June 25th). They have my email and my personal mobile number.

I placed a web order on 1-11-2023 for an American flag. Web order #******** and order # *******. I received an email 4-41-23 saying there was a problem processing my order due to my credit card and I should call or email them. I tried to call several times but hold times were over an hour. I emailed them and took a week for a response (on 4-17-23). My credit card had been charged the $31.20 and I told them that. Email said I would have the flag within 2 weeks. Still no flag and web site says order is still in progress. I have sent another email on 5-1-23 ***************************************************************** but no response yet and also tried to call *************) and again encountered long hold times.Business response

I feel I've been scammed, there has been no communications from this company, several attempts have been made and the money has been taken from my account the day after purchase was made.
