  I hired JMC Concrete Solutions to do a job that required a large amount of concrete work.After being hired and starting project the owner informed me he had not included a major part of the blueprint in his estimate and tried to bully me into paying him additional ******** some point it dawned on me and I double checked with the bank they gave enough money to pay for everything on the blueprint to be done hand **** Martinez(owner) was trying to take advantage of a senior ********** was at this point I decided to stop the additional payments. Since that time *** has failed to complete my project, going days and even weeks at a time with no one showing up to work on my *********** this point it has been over nine months since he was paid $63,000(the requested half upfront), an additional 14,500(which he bullied me out of with his pressure)$*****0 for a carriage house foundation which he treated as though it was a garage, did not wait on the permit to be approved poured the foundation( covering up the drain and the foundation has to be taken up per Code Enforcement.He has also been paid *****O for a walk way, patio and stairs leading to the basement.

  Wehave had time to review the complaint left recently with the BBB regarding the issue that you feel as if JMC Concrete Solutions LLC, took advantage of you and did not complete the work. While we fully understand you have the right to your own opinion in the matter, we must respectfully disagree with the claims that have been made, as they are not accurate reflect the actually events that have recently taken place since starting working with you last year of 2023.

  Upon looking at our records, fully looking into everything, May 2023 you signed a contract with us, regarding a garage slab project at the address on ***********. Not long after you decided to do the basement contract as well. Deposits were paid and recorded. Now JMC Concrete Solutions LLC is not the only contractor involved in this situation as there is another contractor involved in the matter whom did not get permits properly handled but did not tell no one of the situation. ******** was ok with us pouring the slab for the garage, never not once mentioning anything either. Work Continued on granted it was approaching winter and in which things get halted due to weather. Now with the basement project we could not start our portion of the job until this other contractor had did their portion of the work. JMC Concrete started back up on the project early March, once the other contractor had completed there portion. Late March we received a email from ******* stating the city had contacted him regarding structural issues with the permit and that it was our doing. In which we contacted the City of ************ and ******* documentation they told us NO. It was actually the other companies doing and it would be the other company to fix it not JMC Concrete Solutions LLC.

  June of 2024 we contacted the city to see if an inspection was needed and we were told no since it was a residential property. As we prepared to pour, we received an email from someone at the ******************** stating all permits had a hold on it and were not able to continue the work. After discussing with the City of Indianapolis what was going on, it was again the other contractor that had issues with their permits, but we were given the go ahead to continue our portion as our permits were fine. In which all this is documented in email.

  Regarding that we have not completed the work, or taken advantage of Mr. ******** isnt true. Wehave been very willing to work with him. The other contractor hasnt been very up front in communication. Now, with all respect, Mr. ******** asked us to release money from a loan he is to pay us once the job is done, we advised we could not do that. JMC Concrete Solutions LLC has taken alot of out of pocket money on the job granted its been going on for a year and half now, with all the hold **** In which Mr. ******* was very upset that we would not do it for him. Which prompted this complaint to the BBB. MR. ******* is a very kind person but on this day he went into our office and the office assistant at the time was 6 months pregnant and scared because he was not his usual self, he was pacing back and forth, cursing and hitting his hands, telling not only the one in the office but also the office manager over the phone ( worked at home at the time) that if the owner of JMC Concrete Solutions LLC did not give his money there would be issues, I told him I would speak to **** and after carefully speaking to ****, we told him we could not do so in the matter. After carefully reviewing emails, documents, this fully supports our reasoning why this claim is not accurate in the least.

  As of 10/31/2024 we are still currently working with the client and finishing the work. We are awaiting on other vendors to do things so we can finish but we are in communication with the client.
