Contract was for a new concrete driveway and a small concrete patio. the concrete was laid two weeks ago and the project is still unfinished. Apparently an error was made with the wrong sealer which was to be corrected, but the work has become irregular and calls to the owner have been ignored. I have been unable to find out when they will return and complete the job as no one will communicate with me. I have paid one half the cost of the total project.

This project did have an issue with the sealer. Our supplier sold our project manager a new concrete sealer with incorrect instructions. The application of sealer resulted in an aesthetically unpleasant finish. We worked with Job Site Supply (who sold the product) and they coordinated with us to remove the product and scrub the new concrete to its new condition. Working with the supplier took a little over a week to coordinate and complete which the client was unhappy with, but the sealer has been removed and proper sealer applied. We have properly sealed and finished this concrete as of Friday August 30th, 2024. We gave the client a $500 discount for the inconvenience caused and have offered to pay the water bill covering the period QC&R and Job Site Supply were working on her property to compensate for use of water since the project went longer and utilized more than we expected. Pending receipt of the water bill and payment of it, we consider this contract executed and believe we've done everything we can to deliver the promised product under the circumstances of issues with the sealer. If additional information is needed please let us know.

We regret that this experience was anything less than excellent for our client. We always strive to give the very best to any of our clients.

An example is that we approached the client to let them know there was an issue with the sealer we received from our supplier. We did this as soon as we found out there was an issue. We informed our client that we were going to take care of it that we were going to find out what the issue is and find a solution to it. even to the extent that if neccessary we would remove the concrete that we had poured and install new concrete again. She seemed pretty understanding of it. We commincated the issue to the supplier and we met on site, at clients home, we introduced our supplier to our client and again assured her that we would take care of whatever the issue was with the concrete and that we would continue working to do that. In the following two days, we went back and powerwashed to attempt to remove the sealer from the concrete. We did that multiple times, till we fully finished removing the sealant. We let the concrete dry for a few days and returned to apply the sealer. We communicated this to the client and gave her a $500 discount for the inconvenience. On top of the discount, we told her that since the whole process used more water than the job would typically, we offered to pay her upcoming water bill covering the time period we were working on this project. She did pay us the remaining balance after the discount, and at this point we consider this contract fully executed and are just waiting to receive the water bill and pay it.

We apologize that this was a bad experience but we hope that after doing everything we did she can see that we stand behind our work.
