On 10/15/24 Vivint (my security company) withdrew my past due amount from my checking account WITHOUT my authorization. My account is 2 months past due. My normal payment is $52.91. On 10/15/24 I was charged $108.06 and I did Not authorize this charge. I Do Not have auto pay set up on my account and this amount was illegally taken from my checking account without my knowledge or authorization. I called Vivint and spoke to *** on 10/15/24 at 6:06pm and she confirmed I am not set up on auto pay and Vivints collections department did in fact deduct the amount from my card on file that I used to make my last payment without contacting first. This is illegal debt collection practices and Vivint needs to be held accountable for this.Initial Complaint

Ive been calling and calling and No One is returning my calls. I had a service call last month. All of a sudden my bill jumped from $40 to $106. I asked how was this possible. The representative claimed I added a *** to my account. I stated, I didnt add anything. Hes literally arguing with me to the point I ask to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor is saying the same thing. I ask him to look at my account and explain to me when I supposedly ordered a DVR. He places me on hold and then states, This is strange, theres no DVR on your account. Then he states he has to speak to someone in billing to clear the matter up. Its now been over two weeks! No one has called me and my **** ***** shows $106. This is by far the worst security company Ive Ever dealt with. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Im hoping to get out of this contract. They overcharge for the equipment, the *** is horrible and their customer service is beyond subpar!Update: Now Im being told its a technician fee. However no one disclosed there was a fee to send someone out. I will be filing a complaint with the *** and the BBB this morning.Initial Complaint

The initial representative lied to us about the first 30 days leading us to believe that it was a trial period for the amount of $1.48 but the trial period was only 3 business days. Also was told that at any time for any reason we could cancel an be refunded but that was also a lie. We just want it removed from our house and to end contracts with them like we were told we could without any further issues.
