Started in Jan, 23 with an estimate do to their schedule, weather conditions and etc. nothing got started until Feb.22.24. Was for a carport roof falling down and a leaky roof in the sun room. Told the man it would be a challenge for the roof, he said no problem we will get it fixed, if not we will come back. Didn't get fixed, come back, didn't get fixed, what ever they did helped, didn't leak as bad, said to call , back in a couple weeks. Different person each time. Came back and thought they were going to finish what ever they done before, said in order to fix I would have to pay $4,000 more dollars, Now they ignore me. I doubt if there is anything anyone can do now but I feel like I got took .We are in our 90's and can't pay more. I feel better having written.I have estimate on paper and email on the $4,000.Business response

The estimate we submitted to ***** & *************************** on January 2, 2024, was for a Flat Roof Replacement. We did exactly as was lined out on the estimate that was signed and approved by ***** on January 4, 2024. The Contract was noted that the work would be done in 1-2 week from signature on contract. Cold temps and **** will delay the work. The removal of materials on the flat roof and installation of new decking, ISO and new Rubber Roof was installed on February 7th. We also removed the soffit under the carport roof to address sagging sections and installed new plywood boards on the ceiling where needed. Additionally,we removed the rubber on the rear back small porch and installed new ISO foam board with new rubber roofing over the board to seal the roof. When ***** called and said they still had a leak, we went out and looked at the roof situation again. It was noted that the leaking was from the shingled portion of their roof that met up with the new rubber roof we installed. We put a temporary cover over their shingled roof at no charge and informed them that they also needed to replace the shingled portion of their roof. We did go out in April to talk with ***** and informed her that the current leak they were having was beyond the original estimate that we have given them,and I gave her an estimate for the replacement of the shingled portion of their roof, as mentioned to them earlier when we put on the temporary fix for free.Customer response

I did respond by mail but you must have not received it. If they had just came back and finished up what they did when they came back because it still leaks some but not as bad. Just a little more work done and it probably would have fixed it. But instead when they came back they said would cost me $4,000 more which I feel I paid enough and the man said at the beginning don't worry we will fix it, if still leaks call us.So no not very happy about it, I just won't do business with them again or recommend them to anyone.
