Hate this place. Would give it zero stars if I could. Management refuses to do their job, even screening calls in order to ignore them and told the only available recourse is to move, even when other tenants are clearly in violation of the law. Awful, awful excuses is all they can provide. Absolute trash company, trash workers, trash management. Never, EVER live at one of their properties.Review from Bee K

If I could give 0 stars I would. **** the property manager in my complex is incompetent, lacks professionalism, common ******************* service skills. I was being charged $10 per month for renters Insurance since 12/2023. I called my complex because Ive held my renters insurance policy since 12/2023. So I wanted to send proof & receive a credit. I addressed my concerns with pm on April 5, 2024 once I noticed. I sent over several copies of my policy in which I kept receiving pushback. First, they wanted the apartment added to the policy, once I had done that & sent a screenshot, they wanted an actual pdf, so the *** was sent & then they informed of wrong address. I asked if I could have late fee waived since it was already evening on the 5th & I would have to call my insurance company backwasnt allowed. Then **** spoke to me very nasty telling me he would waive the fees, also telling me the information I received from my insurance company was incorrect, I then expressed to him that I did not feel heard as he was ******* me off of the phone & being very snippy. He confirmed that he was in fact, ******* me, & that he would not repeat himself, nor give me any further clarity. **** then stated he couldve been off of the phone with me 20 minutes prior had I stopped talking to him. Eventually hung up in my *********** importantly, instead of giving me the $50 credit that I was rightfully owed. He canceled my lease that I was basically forced to sign (thats a story for another time). And I was placed on a month-to-month term. Forcing me to pay almost $400 additional. This is clearly retaliation. I have lived here 4 years as of 4/14, & I have never been treated so poorly until Bayshore property took over the community. It was very obvious to me that **** was battling something internally that day. However, that is no excuse for the treatment I received, as it was unwarranted, unacceptable & I will be escalating this issue.Bayshore Properties Response

Im suspicious that my complex may be going into foreclosure, things have just gone completely to h*** since Bayshore took over. They raised rent by $140 as of the last lease renewal, and then a few days after the new lease kicked in there was a notice on my building from the utility company that the water was about to be shut off if it wasnt paid. They claimed they raised rent BECAUSE of utilities but it sure looks like they arent paying them. Blessedly the water didnt get shut off, at least not yet, but it feels like a matter of time. Maintenance cant seem to get anything done anymore, Ive gone almost two months now with a broken major appliance in my unit and they havent fixed it yet. Also they keep replacing the outside doors with cheap doorknobs that come loose and then you cant unlock the door anymore, so residents take matters into their own hands and bust them off. So much for secure buildings - but also who can blame them if you cant unlock the door to your own building? Management has taken time off twice lately without advanced notice. Most recently, they were gone for a week and a half, no management on property at all from 12/23 - 1/2, without sending an announcement out to tenants. I only knew they were going to be gone because they put a sign up on the office door, but did not email like they usually do. The website advertises a fitness center on site, that is now inaccurate because they closed it today. Not temporarily closed, just plain closed. It feels like Im living in a money pit, seriously, and Im genuinely concerned its about to fold. I wish I hadnt renewed my lease.Review from Denise J

Not giving them any star, not even half. Trying to rent an apartment from them has been a night mare. Finally got approved and asked if I could see the actual unit I was to move in and was told it wasn't ready, but i could see a model. Now mind you I had only two weeks before move and I had already seen the model twice. I informed agent that I would not be signing the lease until I saw the unit I I was moving into. Still told unit wasn't available, so I requested my money back, I payed app fee$50 in which I knew was non-refundable, so I wasn't expecting it to be refunded, but I had paid a $250 supposed Administration fee that is auto deducted during application process on line. I requested a refund for $250 form (Agent: ********************************* ) ******************************************************************** and was told in writing I would receive my refund by check. After waiting several days I again e-mailed ****** and requested status of my refund and was sent a snippet of a statement that said the Administration fee was non refundable unless applicant was denied. I'm not even sure if this statement was from there site. But I had in writing that she agreed to refund the Administrative fee of $250.00 minus the $50 paid for application fee totaling $300 they received. I want my refund of $250.00. this fee should not be taken until applicant is approved and ready to sign lease and has seen the actual unit they are renting. ****************** is making money off people with the intentions of not doing the right thing and applicants don't have anywhere to get help. I am filing a small claims suit, I will get my money back, I've been looking for some department that handles housing issue nothing and no help. half StarReview from Sam K

I am a new resident at *************. Every step of my application and move in process has been made more difficult than necessary. In order to contact the office I have to call at least twice in row before someone answers. Half the time even that does not work and I have to go into the office. Most interactions Ive had have been with someone I believe is named Star but Im not positive. She always tells me there nothing she can do, only ***** can help, *** left numerous messages with her for ***** and asked for ***** to call me directly and I still have not heard from her. There are incorrect charges on my account directly contradicting my lease. This is also creating late fees. When I talked to Star she agrees that they should be taken off, however they never are. I have lived here a month now. I havent received a garbage can for the valet service either. This is all in addition to my move in process which was absolutely horrible. I got my keys and went into the apartment and it was disgusting. No one had cleaned a thing. The carpets had not even been vacuumed let alone steam cleaned. The counters and bathtub were covered in grime. I went back and talked to the office and they said they would clean it but didnt know when it would be done. They told me they would call, but never did. I waited all day, with people who had taken off work to help me move. I had to go back several times over the next five days to check on the apartment because again, no one answers the phone. I went in at one point to ask if it had been cleaned and one lady says yes another says it wont be done until Monday. (I was supposed to move in on Friday.) They then asked me to go check for them. The carpet had been cleaned but the rest of the apartment had more garbage and grime than before. No one in the office apologized or seemed to care at all that I had to move in almost a week after the promised date. Now I am getting charged MORE than the agreed upon amount?Review from BOBBY W

I would give this zero stars if possible. My wife and I have been living at ************************************************************************** for about 8 months already. We were told that they were going to be revamping the building due to it falling in disrepair. We were shown a model unit that looked nice, but when we went to move into our actual apartment it was anything but that. Way too many things to mention. The flooring does not match up with the baseboards and therefore is a huge gap all around the apartment, where bugs come in, and same thing with all of the windows with huge gaps. About a week ago we experienced a ***** and other various bug infestation. We notified the new Property Owners which is Bayshore management. I sent a one request and nobody replied. I sent a second request and ask to be contacted by phone. Nobody showed up until another day later and it was a maintenance person. He told me someone from the management office would contact us, and they never did. We cannot cook anything or even function in our own home due to the infestation and cannot take it anymore. My wife is not in good health, and the stress and anxiety has caused her to fall even more ill. Someone needs to do an investigation on these slumlords.Review from Kelly C.
