*********************** is the owner of Yard Nut. He was hired to complete a patio project for our backyard space in the fall of 2021. ***** and his son who works for him completed some of the work in December of 2021 however the products used on the patio space fell apart. The stone disintegrated and the grout in between the stones cracked and came apart. The debris was a safety risk to our children, and not an acceptable end result to what we paid for. ***** came back in the spring/summer of 2022 to "resolve" the situation, but all he did was pick up the debris and was gone within 30 minutes. Both my husband and I expressed our concerns the stone and grout would continue to disintegrate and crack again, ***** promised and reassured us if that happened he would replace the patio, he gave us his "word." Unfortunately as predicted, the stone and grout have continued to fall apart. So far in 2023 we've emailed ***** twice, called and left a voicemail, and texted him. No response in 6 weeks (***** has repeatedly been unresponsive in the past, sometimes he would not respond until we tried to contact him over several weeks). We wrote ***** a check for almost $13,000 (we can provide a copy if need) and feel he scammed our family. This patio space is unsafe and he did not hold up his end of the bargain. We are asking for our money back (or replacement potentially) for the amount we paid him as he has been dishonest and not trustworthy. We have given him multiple opportunities to respond and make the situation right, he has not responded. He cannot continue to scam other families, please assist us! We are grateful for your help.Customer response

There was not a warranty. ***** verbally told us he would replace the patio if he fell apart.

************* - I have responded via email and have in person looked at the Krepps patio. I have communicated via email my intention to fix the patio when the weather will permit. I need to have no freezing temperatures for the material to setup properly.
I will keep you informed of my progress when temperatures allow the repair to be completed, hopefully 2nd or 3rd week of April.
