I paid Morse Moving Company and Storage a grand total of $5,866.71 to move my one bedroom apartment from ************, ** to ****** ***** and their service was horrible! My scheduled delivery date window was Friday, June 24, 2022 - Monday, June 27, 2022 which was agreed upon in the service agreement. On Friday, June 24, I spent several hours trying to contact the point of contact (******************************* - **************** Manager and ************************* - Coordinator) and no one would answer my calls, voicemails and emails to advise when my items would be arriving. ******* finally emailed me back stating that there was a delay with the shipment and my items would arrive to the Destination Agent on Monday, June 27, and be delivered on Wednesday, June 29. ******* was not proactive in delivering this information at all. Furthermore, ******* stated that the company would reimburse $75 per day until the items were delivered. $150 for a two day delay is incomparable to $5,866.71 for an out of state move. Once my items were delivered, a lot of personal items were broken/destroyed (glasses, vases, decanter glass set) and items were missing (sneakers). There are three pair of sneakers that was stolen from my closed moving box and then the box was re-taped as if the items were still in the box and they were not. The company does not seem to care about their customers at all and has no empathy towards them. They lack proper communication skills when dealing with such a costly expense and they do not communicate effectively when it comes down to reimbursement and responding to critical concerns. I am asking for assistance with rectifying this situation as soon as possible. Thank You!Business response

It is our goal that all deliveries are on time without damages. We do apologize that your shipment ended up being delayed during transit and we did not receive the information sooner to update you. Our coordinators do their best to pass the information on as soon as they receive it. Allied Valines does have a delay claim process that allows for the $75.00 per day. Your claim was received for the damaged items and paid as claimed. If you have not received your claim settlement yet you will be receiving that by US mail. Below is a copy of the letter sent out for your claim. I am sorry but the cost of your move cannot be refunded due to your shipment being delayed by 2 days.
