We have looked into the background of this complaint and unfortunately, we believe the claim made is not entirely accurate. We do not know the basis for the assertion that the vehicle was in a head on collision. We reviewed the CarFax report for the vehicle in question and it states there was very minor damage to the vehicle. We do not have any more information than that regarding the damage but the report states that minor damage is usually cosmetic. We do not normally see trade values reduced for minor damage as most used vehicles have minor dents and scratches.

We have included vehicle history reports on our website for used inventory for several years and this would have been available when this unit was purchased. We also always support a customer taking a vehicle to their mechanic before purchasing a used vehicle.

I cannot address the customers concern regarding his interaction with our staff as our current sales manager was not the sales manager at the time the customer purchased the vehicle. But if the customer would like to trade his vehicle in with our dealership, we are willing to work with him but the reality is that used vehicle prices have dropped tremendously in the last few months.

      1. I took my running 2008 GMC Acadia to Fuson Automotive service in ***********, IN on 10/05/21 for tune up & general repair.2. They called saying that the battery needs to be replaced along with other electric components draining the battery and I agreed.3. Later on they called saying the front catalytic convertor is leaking because it is not original part. I told them that I've installed a complete after market set of catalytic convertors with bolts and gaskets. I asked them to try to fix it and they agreed.5. Later on they called saying the the front convertor must be replaced with original part costing $1300 to solve the problem so I agreed and paid.6. They called me saying that after installing it the car is running much better but the rear convertor is leaking. To save me money they suggested that I fix that problem elsewhere. Accordingly I agreed to come pick the car up.7. On 11//23/21 I went to them and paid another $1375.50 for the new battery, parts and labor.8. They brought out the car which was barely running.9. As soon as car crossed the street it stalled and it wouldn't start because the battery was dead!!10. I went back to them and asked them to tow the car back and fix it at least to its original running state.11. More than a week later I went there to follow up. The service manager met me and told me that the car needs a new engine and a lot of more work. His estimation was $10,000 but he said that the car isn't worth it and suggested that i just through it away.12. I asked him why didn't you tell me so from the very beginning and save me the $2675.50 Dollars I paid? I told him to take off all the parts they put in the car and I'll take it somewhere and refund my money.13. I waited for a long time and they didn't refund me or call me.14. I opened a charge back claim with my bank and they issued me a full refund.15. I gave them enough time to take their parts out and sent AAA to bring that car but they refuse to release it.
