If this is the consumer I think it is, he wanted me to do fraudulent work.  I'm not willing to do that.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:I was getting an estimate for my mother's car. It needed a radiator fan. I wanted to ask if we needed to obtain the part prior to setting an appointment. My phone was malfunctioning and I didn't think that it had dialed. I couldn't hear the ringing. Apparently, he didn't need our business.

      Sincerely,

Complainant came in my shop a couple days earlier and stated he wanted work done on his mothers car. I stated that I wasn't taking anything on at the time as per having surgery and I also had a fractured leg. He wanted a quote and told him I charge $75 dollars to stop write a quote and then if you decide to have my shop do the work I apply to the bill. Complainant left. Couple days later I was on the phone talking to a trucking company diagnosing a semi when I get three phone calls within 4 minutes. Then the person texts me. Next thing I know this person shows up at my shop demanding to my wife in the lobby to speak to me. My wife came and got me and I hung up from my call I was on and see what is going on. I stated are you the person calling me and texting me. He stated yes I need a quote. I told him to leave that I wasn't interested in working on anything of his. He turned around to leaving cussing and yelling. Like I would want to put up with any more issues with this person. He thinks just because he shows up that I have to meet his demand. I don't put up with this kind of people. And no I don't have customers get their own parts as rule of thumb it takes longer to install the parts when the customer gets the wrong parts. And yes I mark my parts up like any other shop does. His insulting comments are just ignorant and refuse to even fall into this behavior. Maybe this person should learn business before slandering someone. As for me not answering I just had brain surgery and just now got your email. I spoke with a lady from the BBB and then I never got the email till now. And the last time I check it is my right to refuse to work on someone's vehicle. Especially when they are a bold face liar. And I can't lose my license for doing proper business. If this is all you need I'm going back to work as this whole issue is just pathetic of an individual throwing a temper tantrum. Like I said in my other message I sent to you writing out his text message as your upload couldn't handle that large of a file. This is his idea of freedom of speech cussing me out.
