Hello, On July 1, 2022, Awesome Moving moved my items from my apartment into a moving truck. While moving the items into the truck, before they even left my vacuum was broken. The owner, *****, took off the estimated cost of the vacuum from the total. In the end, with tip included, I paid $420 for this service. I drove the moving truck from Lenexa, KS to Orlando, FL. When opening the moving truck in Orlando, I found that several of my belongings were damaged due to poor handling/packing. I immediately contacted ***** with pictures to come to a resolution as him and his team placed heavy items on top of smaller/fragile items (ex: mattress on top of a thin desk that broke in half due to the weight). I sent pictures to ***** on July 6, 2022. ***** changed his statements that one minute he was in contact with insurance, and then the next he advised for us not to go through his insurance company and that he would ***** me my reimbursement. I sent ***** receipts of what I paid for of the items that were broken or heavily damaged and we can to a mutual conclusion of what the reimbursement price would be ($550). On July 7th, ***** stated it would take 7-10 business days for the damage to be paid out. On August 2nd, we spoke on the phone and over text ***** agreed to send $550 within 7-10 days again. It is now September 7th, 62 days after the incident and promises over and over of being reimbursed and ***** has not been responding to my texts. If it through insurance, I have not received any contact information or given any information to the insurance company in order for the claim to be settled. Included in the supporting documents are my texts with the owner of Awesome Moving, *****. The final picture is a screenshot from my banking account to show the total price paid when ***** and his team initially moved my items into the moving truck.Business response

Replied to customer that I’m getting with insurance on the matter nothin more I can say. We not even sure if we made the damages.
