ordered a tool I desperately needed for overnight delivery and was charged over $** for ***** overnight delivery only to be told they missed the pickup time and it won't be here until 5/31. this does me no good and I would not have ordered the tool if I had known and especially not paid extra for "overnight" delivery. they refuse to credit back the charges and I find that unacceptable.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/06) */ Yes, the order was not received in time to ship the same day. We informed the customer that it would not ship the same day. The customer informed us that the new date would not work. We cancelled the order and issued the customer a full refund. Not sure why he is saying we refused to refund as a full refund was issued the very same day he cancelled the order. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) i was told the item had already shipped and i could return it for a refund but I could not get the overnight shipping fee back even though it had not gone out overnight as the shipping pickup time was missed by the company. I was told it would arrive 4 days later as it was a holiday weekend. then after filing my complaint they discovered it had not shipped after all and issued me a full refund. he could have checked shipping first and i would not have been as upset. if overnight shipping can not be met they should say so and not accept the full overnight shipping fee and then say it cannot be refunded. But other than that I am satisfied with the resolution.
