Contracted with *** ***** ******** to fence my backyard at my new residence. We gave ******** $4260 in the middle of January. He cashed my check on January 19th,2024. He promised the fence in two weeks. Time came and went and he said the fence parts ordered through ***** came in damaged so he would reorder and hope for two weeks again. I went to ***** in Russell,KY. and chose the fencing we wanted and sent him the item numbers to purchase for the job ,twice. He text us and said the fencing would be delivered on Wednesday March 13th but that his worker had measured wrong and that the price installed would be $9998 as opposed to $6700 and that he needed another $2500 down in order to do the job. We told him no that that price was ridiculous and that we wanted our $4260 deposit refunded. He said ok but that it would be a few days. Several days later he said that"his accountant" was out of town because of a death in the family and wouldn't return until April 10th. Several phone calls later and no return call so I went to his office today to check on getting this straightened out and he has left the building. It's now up for lease. His land line doesn't ring and his cell is disconnected. All I want is a refund on my money,nothing else.Initial Complaint
