I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, not to individual consumers or to buyers for large companies. I used to do business with them as I own and operate a cleaning company and we have many healthcare clients that need their offices and spaces cleaned with certain approved chemicals. They didn’t have my regular anti-septic soap that I needed to fill the offices of the doctors rooms when they see and examine patients and instead sold me some pink gooey soap that they said was comparable, when I finally for the SDS sheet for the new soap, I came to find out that it was just cheap soap full of formaldehyde-releasing preservatives! These preservatives, such as DMDM Hydantoin, Diazolidinyl Urea, and Imidazolidinyl Urea, release small amounts of formaldehyde over time to inhibit microbial growth in the product. Formaldehyde is a known carcinogen and skin irritant!!! And some of them were expired with an antibacterial agent called triclosan which has been banned because it’s bad for you! It made me wonder if they even did any cycling with any of their products or if they even did anymore cycle counting like that one portly fellow did. A patient brought this issue of the soap being expired to a doctor and one of my pediatric locations that I clean and I almost lost my job as the manager of the practice told me why those chemicals are horrible and even more so for children! I saw CPG as an extension of my business, and if this is how they are going to be then I’m staying with HD Supply, they’re easy to order from and get my products to me fast.
