They were painting strips on Cane Run road in Louisville Kentucky 40216 area and sprayed paint all over the front end of my car causing over $6,000 in damages the paint is very abrasive and caused scratches and scrapes all over my hood and front end. The paint is also in my wheel wale but only on the driver side of my vehicle the same side the operator was spraying on. I would like to be compensated for damages to my car. Below is a brief overview of our claims process:
Initial Claim Submission: Our claims process begins when a claimant submits a claim for review. This can be done through our online claim portal.
Claim Assessment: Once a claim is received, our team assesses the provided information and documentation. We strive to process claims within one business day and direct the claim information to our insurance broker, which then forwards it to the claim department with ********* ********* ******** Claimants are contacted within 2 days.
Communication: Throughout the process, we maintain open lines of communication with the claim adjuster on each claim.
Claim Decision: After a thorough review, insurance adjusters make a decision on the claim's validity. Thoroughly reviewing the claim description given, as well as questioning ******** on various traffic control processes for each specific claim. Often, we must provide photos of our trucks with proper MUTCD signage as well as the standard drawings for our convoy. The satellite images of the road are reviewed, and ******** must provide an adequate explanation to our adjuster on how/why we positioned our convoy the way we did. The adjuster makes an independent decision on whether to pay or deny the claim.
Appeals Process: In the event of a denial, claimants have the right to appeal the decision. They are given the opportunity to escalate their claim to information to the adjuster's supervisor for another review.
Resolution: After a denial from our insurance company, those claimants have the option to file a claim with their own insurance company. Occasionally, the two insurance companies communicate to a mediation of sorts.
Continuous Improvement: We continuously assess our claims process to ensure that it remains efficient, transparent, and compliant with standards.
