      We signed an agreement with Kevin V**** to remodel our bathroom on 11/18/21. Work began on 1/6/22 and the contract said the job would take 2 - 3 week, which would have been 1/27/22. He took two days off to complete a previous job which was okay with us. Six (6) weeks later on 2/2/22, Kevin had everything done with the exception of the exhaust fan which he said he would come back as soon as the weather was warm enough for him to run the exhaust to the soffit outside. We paid him in full, with the understanding that he'd be back sometime in March or April to complete the job. On 2/23/22 we called Kevin to tell him the shower floor was not draining properly and that we had to squeegee the water down the drain. He said he'd be over on 2/25/22 to correct the problem. On 3/14/22 we left him a message because he still hadn't fixed the problem. He came on 3/21/22 to fix the floor. It still does not drain properly, and we still have to squeegee the water. We called Kevin on 5/10/22 to have him come finish the exhaust fan. I texted him on 5/26/22 and 5/31/22, Kevin responded by saying he needed a week or two to get his affairs in order. On 6/7/22 and 6/15/22 I again texted him requesting him call us to complete the job. He has yet to respond. We would like a response and the respect due us as consumers.

      I’ll be glad to fix any complaints. I wasn’t able to respond to them because I dropped my phone in the lake. I just got a new one, but all my info was lost. That’s where I kept all my contacts and everything business related.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ******** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.   I don't necessarily believe him because he always has an excuse, his phone wasn't lost on 5/10/22, 5/26/22, and 5/31/22 when he finally responded to my messages.  He had plenty of time before 5/31/22 to resolve the issue.  I have texted Mr. V**** and my husband has called him to get this resolved.
