07/23/2024 I got off work to go to quick cash/royal pawn in Covington Kentucky on Madison Ave. I paid 200.00 on 07/16/2024 to my pawn. which my pawn fee was at 376.00.. they didn't tell me they was gonna be close nor anyone else. My pawn fee is suppose to go up every 24 of the month since I pawn my playstation 5 this year around 05/24/2024. Sad thing and most humiliated thing is I paid 200.00 on 07/16/2024 and I told the people that work there I would be in on 07/23 /2024 to pick my pawn up. Today is 07/23/2024 and I got to that pawn shop and they haven't been open all day..infact the have sign saying they won't be open on 07/23/2024, 07/24/2024/ and on 07/25/2024 the quick cash/royal pawn shop on Madison Ave in Covington will be closed those 3 days they didn't even mention it nor did the tell anybody. But my pay goes up 50 or more dollar on the 24 of each month I can't pay on the 24 the because they close. And I feel my pawn should go up none this month or next month due to me travelonbto come pick my pawn up today at 4:30p.m -4:45pm on 07/23/2024. If it's issue my pawn should be give back to me due to they lack of notifying people. If they are close on days people pawn go up they shouldn't charge or they shouldn't allow a person or people pawn to go up on days they close because no one is in to take a payment or collect .Initial Complaint

I went into quick cash pawn shop in ******** **, to sell some broken jewelry I had. The jewelry was not fixable. That was on Jan 5, 2022. I was told for the first two items I'd receive 65 dollars. Then for the third item I'd receive a extra 20 dollars. I put the money in my billfold while standing there, along with my ticket. I went home and pulled the ticket and money out and there was only 65 dollars there. I assumed the manager made a simple mistake. I called to tell them and was very polite. They told me I was wrong that they gave me the full amount because their drawer wasn't over. So let me first say I honestly wasn't even worried about the money at this point. I was upset that they didn't even look into this matter at all. I am certain the man that worked with me there pocketed 20 dollars and then denied it when asked. I feel like if they can do that to me they will do it to anyone. I wish I would had counted it right there but I took his word and folded the money up in the ticket and stuck it in my billfold. I don't want the money back, I want ppl to know how a business can fleece u and get away with it, it was my broken jewelry and my money! Sadly they never looked at cameras or even attempted to dig into the matter. I even told them they could keep the twenty dollars. But to not allow someone to get away with that. They treated me very poorly.
