I was charged in advance for Dental services and once i paid they would never let me keep my appointments. They would cancel the day before sometimes without notice. After 6 months of fighting and many canceled appointments, I asked for a refund. They wanted me to settle for half of what i was owed and then told me that they would make payments back to me as it was allowed by the dentist. after this i searched and found where his dental liscense was revoked and where he was indicted for killing a patient with over doses of opioids. I am to nervous to go back there and let them put me under to do any more work. I was sold on a dental package with a 3000 dollar deduction if paid in full before it begun. Which i did without knowing of the reputation.

MISDIAGNOSIS OF WRONG TOOTH FOR ROOT CANAL AND DIFFICULTY RECEIVING REFUND : November 15th I called Dental Implants for my wife to have a toothache evaluated. Told she needed a root canal and a new crown on tooth number 3, 1st molar. Examiner had DIFFICULTY WITH X-RAY EQUIPMENT. Dentist, Sarah B******* said THEIR COLD AND HEAT EQUIPMENT used to determine correct tooth WAS LOCATED AT ANOTHER OFFICE. She was scheduled for root canal and new crown and told we would have to PAY THE FULL AMOUNT OF $3,000 IN ADVANCE. My advice to you is to WAIT AND PAY ON THE DAY OF SERVICE RATHER THAN A WEEK AHEAD. Decided to get a SECOND OPINION from an endodontist. He did x-rays and using heat and cold determined that A DIFFERENT TOOTH TOWARD THE FRONT OF HER MOUTH (TOOTH NUMBER 6) WAS ACTUALLY THE ONE THAT NEEDED A ROOT CANAL AND NO CROWN. Dental Implants was DOING A ROOT CANAL ON THE WRONG TOOTH. She experienced a very good outcome with the endodontist. I called Dental Implants to request a CANCELLATION OF THE APPOINTMENT. I REQUESTED A REFUND OF THE $3000 I had pre-paid for wrong diagnosis. . I was informed by Lisa that she would have to pass my request along to the owner. After a week, I visited the office and asked why I had not heard from the owner. I met with the owner and explained my concerns and he referred me to Brittany who checked my wife’s account and told me she would be able to refund only $2,400 of the $3,000. SO, I'M STUCK WITH $600 OUT OF MY POCKET FOR A TOTAL MISDIAGNOSIS. If you google the owner JAY S*******, you will find lots of interesting information about his legal involvement concerning his dental practice. I have read online and at Better Business Bureau Complaints where other patients have encountered similar delays and a denial of refunds for services previously paid for but never delivered. DENTAL IMPLANTS HAS AN 'F' RATING WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

I had an initial consultation 4/12/23with dentist visit, x-rays to have a permanent tooth extracted and an implant to be placed in. During that time (due to the cost) I completed an application for $5,000 through a loan provider (Lending Tree) (that the dental office went through) while in the dental office on my initial visit. My loan was approved and I would have $189 deducted each month out of my Huntington Bank Checking Account. Prior to my surgery date I already had my first $189 deducted from my checking account. A day before my schedule surgery on 4/27/23 I received a call from the dental office stating that my surgery was cancelled. A new surgery date was given. I arrive at the office on my scheduled surgery date and was taken back to the dental chair. Shortly after they came in said that they would have to cancel my surgery. I went to the main office to reschedule. I arrived on my next scheduled surgery date and was informed that my surgery was cancelled with NO prior call to advise me. I have already taken 2 vacation days and still NO surgery. At that point I said that I am no longer going to have this procedure here as now it has been over 2 months. The owner and office manager signed a document stating that they would refund the $189 already deducted from my checking account and would call the lender to cancel the $5,000 loan. I have their signed affidavit. Three weeks later I had another $189 deducted from my checking account. I called the office manager, ***** and she laughed and said that their was nothing that she could do. I don't want to block the automatic loan from my checking account as I don't want it to go against my credit. Please, can someone help me in resolving this issue, getting my money back now $380 and the loan cancelled without hurting my credit score. Thank you in advance, ******** ** *****

My son is 42 and a brittle diabetic with many health problems. He had spent an entire summer as a dental patient of Dr Schneider. When we went to Urgent Dental Center in Florence, he had a large abscess. The dentist gave him a course of antibiotics. When we called for an appointment to have the tooth pulled, we were routed to the Dental Implant Center on Buttermilk Pike. They wanted to redo nine fillings that were less than a year old, for a price of $19,000. My ********** limit is $3500. I agreed to Phase One, at $4100. To date, my son has had one extraction, one root canal, and a crown. The interest rate on ********** is 27.9%. Since he stopped being a patient there after the third visit, I would like the charges for services he did not receive to be removed from my ********** account.

Scheduled two visits, canceled second visit. Was charged anyways for 3 crowns. Office confirmed no molds were made of the teeth yet. Itemized bill attached. Shows first visit costing 287.50 and second visit costing 17118.70. Office confirms appointment was canceled. Sent email as well so I would have paper trail of the request. Called them 4-8, 4-11, 4-12, 4-13, 4-14, 4-20, 6-20, 6-21 requesting refund of the services not provided. Left my number each time and was told they were too busy to look into it but would call back, Never have they attempted to contact me. Disputed charge on card for second visit through card company and waited 45 days for dentist to respond. Dispute was closed because dentist would not respond. I have attempted to resolve this through all channels first before filing this claim.
