      You should not make any special orders with Patient Aids on Maple Leaf Drive in Lexington. They have terrible management in that location and their records are a mess. Some on paper and some on computer. As a CPA and auditor, I would deem them at high risk for internal control breakdown and potential fraud. I spent over an hour there with my elderly mother and we ordered a Pride Mobility lift chair on August 11. They noted that they would order it and that payment would be when the chair was delivered to the store. They said they would call us when the chair came to the store and we would inspect it, sign off and then pay for it and they would arrange delivery. We called about every 1 1/2 weeks to check on the status. Last status on the phone was around Labor day and they said the chair had been shipped and should be at the store in the next week or so. On September 14, I was in Lexington for my father's doctor appointment and we stopped by the store. They had no evidence of our order either in the notebook or the computer. I asked for the manager and she indicated she would research the situation and would call me on the next day. She didn't call so I called the store that afternoon. I talked to a very nice new employee who made calls to find out the status and she indicated that they don't have evidence of the order and do not know when the chair would even come in. We discussed that it probably made sense for us to go order our chair at another DME provider. I wish I had looked at their online reviews before visiting the store as I see now that this lack of internal controls around special orders is a pattern for them. Stay away!

      I purchased a four wheel scooter at the store, and both of the people that helped me were very kind and knowledgeable about their product. The price was better than I found anywhere else for a comparable product. I am pleased and will go back to purchase from them again.

      Not responsive I'm on oxygen 24/7 since January 22 I've never had issue before. I needed new tubing and supplies called they said would mail out on Monday. Two weeks later no tubing so called again she apologized said would overnight still didn't receive called again she lied to me said it was out for delivery and would get that afternoon I didn't so called this morning was told it was mailed out this morning should receive tomorrow. I explained I was upset this is a matter or life and death for me she said wellyou have a tank for emergencies and if you can't breathe go to er. I just said thanks and hung up. The emergency tank will only last one hour so i guess after they expected me to sit here and die or make an unnecessary trip to er. I am a widow and live alone. My soninlaw lives in Estill County he's going to get it tomorrow in Lexington then bring to me in Berea...this is ridiculous. They need to be responsive to their patients needs.
