      Ever since I started taking my car to Barnes Auto I can’t imagine going any where else. The people are great & efficient & whatever your cars needs are they do it & they do it right. They are my trusted go to for my auto needs.

      Barnes Auto Service is the place to go! Their communication is a 10, the work is a 10, attention to detail is a 10, and prices are incredible. In the past 3 months I’ve take. 2 cars there, they were upfront honest and efficient. Rubie even calls for a follow up to make sure everything is working and up to standard. This is the premiere shop in Louisville. I’ve had brakes, tires, struts, and a computer chip done. Also, to some it may not matter but did to me. I keep my cars clean, when the shop was done, they wiped everything done. Very considerate!

      Killed my car and had a smug attitude about it. Not trustworthy. When we asked about their insurance they avoided it at any cost. Only take your vehicle there if you don't want to get it back in one piece. Seems like the new ownership is lazy and it slow. If you get your car back than great. Other wise they will try to grift you and over charge you for any simple thing. I already had much better luck at a better shop. Barnes use to be a good shop but now it's just a scam to charge you way over for simple shit or to try to grift you when they blow up your vehicle. 0 out of 10. A shame because this was the shop I trusted. Now after the smug attitude and when asking about this insurance,the guy just dances around the questions. Don't trust them. You will pay more here than any other shop you go to.

      Greg I am sorry for the miss understanding and the unfortunate issue, with the car sitting for that long of a period of time and once we drain old fuel and new filters and battery we had no idea that the motor was going to be bad. We spoke with your mother and she was understanding and thats whos name the vehicle was under when it came in. So once we found the motor was bad at that time we called her and told her no charge and it needed a motor and she declined going further and that is was out of our control. Since your comment on here i have since reach out to you multiple times and no return call so i reach out to your mother and confirmed our conversation and offered her help and she was very appreciative and apologized for your actions.
