One of the worst contractors I have ever hired! Let me just say that it's been SIX months since he demolished my building and he's still not done. Matter of fact, he stopped coming in at this point and wants me to deal with the city, which is a part of his job to "obtain all permits and signoffs" and why I hired a general contractor in the first place. It's a simple 50'x50' block building, and he's already almost ruined the whole project by not putting a footer in the foundation where the blocks sit on. If it wasn't for me getting an Engineer out to inspect the foundation and concrete slab, I would've had my building sitting on a toothpick. I've even had to hire a lawyer because he tried to give me a bs warranty that covered nothing. Even the people that he is subcontracting ended up coming back to me and telling me "****** still hasn't paid us" for jobs that have been completed two months prior. He even told the garage door company to go to the owners and they'll pay you. Even though he's been paid up to date with everything. He's definitely not an experienced contractor, a lot of the people that he hired never worked for him before, therefore he didn't know how well of a job they can do, and still, he wasn't here to supervise or make sure things are going smoothly. And that's how you end up with a terrible concrete slab, and an uneven building. Blocks are in and out throughout the whole building, and all the inconsistent joints you want! Right now, I'm dealing with his electrician that's been at it for at least a month now. Once again, ****** has never done any work with this guy before, otherwise he would have known this guy is very unexperienced. A week after he started, he told me that he usually hooks up pools and car lifts, simple stuff for a living! In the electrician's own words, "I've never bent this much conduit in my life". This is definitely what you want to hear when you're paying a whole lot of money.

All of our responsibilities are being fulfilled per the contract. All subcontractors have been professional, and the electrician is a professional licensed electrician. who has passed all necessary inspections thus far. We have not stopped working on this project, and we have multiple emails, and correspondence that proves there has been progress and communication throughout the entire length of the project. We have passed all building inspections that have taken place. All subcontractors have been paid per agreement between myself and them. The clients are angry that we are not doing work that is outside of the scope that they are paying us for. They are also angry at things that the city is making them do as a part of this project, and they feel as though we should just make the issues go away, which we explained is not possible.
