I cannot say enough about how being a dealer for StorMor Portable buildings has changed my life ! I’ve worked in the industry now for just right at 10 years . I’ve worked for other companies in the beginning and once I found my way to StorMor that was it for me ! Stormor is an excellent company to be with . I’ve had nothing but a great experience with them. The craftsmanship of their buildings, the support I get from corporate, the marketing , my sales rep, all the way right to the owner who is an awesome, very humble Christian man! Spoke with wife andExplained we wanted a built on site. After giving a price from husband we find out that’s a prebuilt unit and it’s about 2500 more to build on site! We said ok and was told 4-6 weeks out. 6 weeks out called the Husband and he said I would have to call main office as he didn’t handle anything after purchase the office controlled it from there! Called main office they informed me they would have the representative over that group give me a call, next day I hadn’t heard anything so called main office again. Told they would get in contact with him again, next day no call and was given a name for the person who over sees building the units. Called her and was told there were at least 3 units for on site ahead of me and they only build these on site over the weekend! Would call me when she could look into it! 2 days later no call so I called back and she explained that she told me I was in line and nothing new! Waited another weekend and verified I was still in line and no news as it depended on the weather how soon the other units ahead of me were built! 3 days later I decided to call and cancel so I called my local guy and informed him to cancel order ASAP! Next day I called to ask how I would recieve a refund and he said that was up to main office so I called them and verified deposit back to bank. Next day I received a call from the lady who schedules the build and was set up for next day(Thursday) I informed her I had canceled it. Called main office and said I had canceled 2 days ago to find out my local had called and pushed it to be built before he lost the sale! As main office to cancel! Called local and informed that I wanted it canceled ASAP! Funny how fast I could have had it built if I had tried to cancel earlier! 4-6 weeks is just that not 12 or more! I would not recommend this company as after the sale no local support! That is till you try to cancel order!

Mr. Andrews, we are sorry for the inconveniences you encountered with Stor-Mor during this buying process. This is not how we intend for our customer interactions to go. There was clearly a break down in communication regarding the build on site option. As our build on site option requires multiple crew members to be out of our shop traveling and assembling a building on the customer's property, it is true that we have an additional fee for on site buildings. This is noted in all of our build on site material and advertisements. This fee is 25% of the building cost. In this case, it was an additional $1,972.42 to have the building built on site. As far as the timeline goes for a building to be built on site, it does not always follow the same criteria as the on-lot buildings or our custom buildings that are delivered to a customer. It seems this may not have been communicated. Again, we are sorry for how poorly you were communicated with during this process.

We ordered a building off of their lot that already had electric. We were VERY careful about the building. We talked to the sales rep extensively, we talked to the delivery driver. We sent a video from our road all the way to the spot where the building would be. It was cleared by the rep and the driver. Then they brought the building and the driver said he couldn’t get it under the power lines and that there was no where else to deliver it and took it back to the store. I had to call and request the cancellation based on the driver’s assessment. I waited weeks to get the refund (we had put $3000 down) and the refund was only $1400 with NO explanation of why they kept MORE THAN HALF of our original down payment. No one from Stor-Mor will contact me, the sales rep from Florida will not answer my calls or texts, nothing. This is WRONG. I will be pursuing legal action unless this is fixed by Stor-Mor. Regional Manager in Southwest Florida D. Wilson needs to answer for this!!!!!

Unfortunately, in this situation, the pictures that were sent in did not reflect how low hanging the power lines were on this property. When the driver arrived with the building and was asked to place the building under the power lines, it was deemed hazardous. The driver offered to lift the power lines with a board to be able to clear it and place the building in another location on the property, however this did not satisfy your desires. As for the refund, in accordance to the Terms and Conditions of the Sale which were signed on 9/8/23, Stor-Mor may charge a Restocking Fee of 15% of the purchase price for a cancelled order of a delivered building.

On 4/6/2022 we ordered one of StorMor’s largest size building thru a StorMor’s sales rep, near where we live. The rep told us that it would only take 4 to 6 wks for StorMor to build and ship the bldg to us but it actually took 11 weeks and 2 days, receiving it on 6/24/2022! We had a full concrete foundation laid to set the bldg, leveled and blocked, on top! The rep had detailed the delivery more than twice with us, stating that StorMor was providing the leveling of our bldg plus 2 solid concrete blocks spaced every 8ft on each of the 4 runners and if we wanted 1 other block added to each stack; they (StorMor) would add on the extra blocks w/o fee but we would have to purchase the 3rd block(s) our selves and have those on site, that day! When our bldg arrived the driver and his helper (from an outside contracted delivery company) had no knowledge, instructions, blocks or anything, like we had been assured; other than they were told to deliver, set on property and go! They, being very kind hearted souls, stayed and leveled the bldg on blocks to which we are very thankful to & for them!! Meanwhile, the rep never showed up & then in a call he denied everything he had told us and to top that off, he had the nerve to call the contracted delivery company and told the co exec an enormous lie! He said that their two delivery men (whom had gone above & beyond helping us) had done nothing to help us and had been cussing us and very rude to us all morning! Excuse me and What!!! Since 6/24/2022 we have not seen that rep or heard from him and that’s fine with us!! We had also called StorMor at the time of delivery and told them what was going on; they said that there was absolutely nothing they could do for us; we were just shocked and appalled! Apart from all of the nonsense the StorMor field rep put us thru; our custom bldg turned out great, thankfully! StorMor should have a better policy for what sales tactics are used by sales reps on their behalf and NO LIES!!!

Though it is true the customer initially ordered a building on 4/6/2022, that order was cancelled. The customer then ordered and cancelled three more buildings for a total of four orders and cancellations over the course of three weeks. On 4/26/22, the customer placed a finalized order. This was the fifth order for this customer and starts the time period in which the order took to complete, which was 8.5 weeks from the order date to the delivery date. When taking a look at signed documents, the paperwork states Custom Shop Builds “may vary dependent on lead times.” With varied availability of materials, weather conditions, driver availability, etc. it is not always possible to give an exact time frame for a building to be constructed and delivered to a customer. It seems this was not made clear to the customer, but was stated on the signed Customer Delivery Agreement. In the same signed document, it states “If you choose to use concrete blocks, they must be provided by the customer and available for driver at time of delivery.” Under no circumstances are delivery drivers required to provide concrete blocks, which is why the driver would have been unaware of the reason for the customer’s complaint about not having blocks. The drivers are able to deliver the building and ensure it is level by using shims or small wooden blocks if needed. In addition, it is certainly not required for the Stor-Mor Salesman to be present at the time of the delivery. It seems there may have been other arrangements made between the salesman and the customer that were outside of Stor-Mor Portable Buildings and its responsibility to our customers. At the time of the delivery, it is true that the customer called and spoke with our team at the home office. Our Customer Service Representative was as helpful as they could be in the situation and even made a suggestion to the customer that ended up saving them thousands of dollars in second delivery fees. The suggestion was for the customer to purchase the concrete blocks and bring them back for the delivery drivers to use for set up of the building while the drivers waited for the customer to return. The customer did have to pay for the additional time of the drivers waiting at their delivery address, but the customer avoided having to pay for the attempted delivery and a secondary delivery at another date.

On 4/6/2022 we ordered 1 time only and that was for 1 custom 16’x 60’ building only! We never ever ordered more than that 1 building, period! What a terrible salesman; lie upon lie upon lie!!! This salesman kept coming to our house and having us re-sign; he told us his iPad was giving him problems and that he was loosing our signatures! I hate that this man gave Stor Mor the impression that he did about us; that was so so so wrong!!! The young woman that I spoke to was very nice but when I asked what the company was going to do about our salesman and his lie’s; she told us that the company could do nothing! I understand that now! The two young men who delivered our bldg were excellent at what they do and were very professional also! We are very grateful to those two young men for all of their help! We are very pleased with our building from Stor Mor, they did a great job in building it for us!!! I will recommend Stor Mor’s building’s & service in a flash!!! On the other hand; I will never recommend the salesman we had to anyone, ever!

Terrible ordered a building in October...they finally wanted to deliver in February...asked for a refund to get the actual bigger size...sent a refund of 7 dollars and some change....meanwhile the bigger building was no longer available...ughhh headache all the way around....

Customer initially delayed delivery stating they were waiting on blocks to be delivered to their property and were then waiting for their ground to dry after rain. Stor-Mor waited several weeks for the customer to allow delivery until a monthly payment was due. Customer did not make payment. Order was cancelled. Signed cancellation policy indicates that you can only get a full refund within three business days of order being placed.

Big rip off..we bought a building for 17000.00...we put 9000.00 down the girl that sold us the building lied..was told 24 month pay and be done...we get the paperwork for payments...we will be paying 23000.00...something does not add up...

Hi Gayle, thank you for being a Stor-Mor customer. In looking at your order, you took advantage of a rent to own option that we make available to customers who do not wish to, or are unable to, pay for the building in full at the time of the sale. In the rent to own contract that was signed on 11/12/21, you agreed to the rent to own terms. In addition, this contract includes your monthly payment break down under "Terms of Agreement" in Section #1 along with the length of the contract. Your total cost is broken down in Section #6. You are welcome to pay off the rent to own contract at anytime with no early pay off fees, as stated in Section #8. We offer each of our customers the option to pay for their building in cash. If a customer decides to take advantage of the cash option, no rental fees are included. If a customer takes advantage of the rent to own option, that will require monthly payments paid to the rent to own company.
