Mike F******** with A.R.T.S was contracted to complete a hall bath remodel on 7/9/22 for $9265. Mike has done a lot of work with us and we previously had no issues with him at all. Mike made a mistake on the shower hand held measurements and had to tear into the wall behind the bathroom. He did not tell me about this mistake but I discovered on my own when I found the drywall on the floor. I have record of the conversation. Mike stated that he needed to order a special piece as he had made a mis calculation and this would enable to finish it or if it did not work he would have to re open the wall and fix the plumbing correctly. Mike had a hernia surgery on 9/2/22 and was unable to finish the work but was to return after recovery to finish it up so that we may utilize the bathroom and guest bedroom again. I contacted Mike on 8/2/22 to see how he was doing and set up a time to complete the work and odds and ends left. Mike replied that he had forgotten about it. Mike was contacted again on 8/14/22 asking when he was coming? He replied that he could come this weekend. We prepared everything but he never showed and never called. Mike was contacted again 8/27/22 but no reply. Mike was contacted again on 11/1/22 but no reply. Mike was sent notice by text 11/1/22 of seven day deadline or risk of lawsuit. We are unsure why Mike will not come back to finish the work. We had no problems, fights, or issues before the surgery and we have used him for countless other projects. We require that the job be finished promptly and all other odds and ends finished. Masterbath window grout not completed closet rail is missing guest bedroom wall fixed Here is the dates I paid him for the hall bathroom. I have responded to *** *******. I paid for a plumber to install shower handheld and also sent an installer from my company to do all other touch ups and repairs. All work was completed on our before 11-11-22Customer response

Mike made a mistake on the shower hand held measurements and had to tear into the wall behind the bathroom. He did not tell me about this mistake but I discovered on my own when I found the drywall on the floor. I have record of ALL conversations.
We are very concerned should we have any problems in the future that now we have no warranty on any of the work as he is unreliable and not worth of BBB accreditation.

9/8/22-Mike had a hernia surgery on 9/8/22 and was unable to finish the work but was to return after recovery to finish it up so that we may utilize the bathroom and guest bedroom again.
10/2/22-I contacted Mike on 10/2/22 to see how he was doing and set up a time to complete the work and odds and ends left. Mike replied that he had forgotten about it.
10/14/22-NO CALL NO SHOW-Mike was contacted again on 10/14/22 asking when he was coming? He replied that he could come this weekend. My wife cancelled her plans to make sure she was there. We prepared everything but he never showed and never called.
10/26/22-Mike was contacted again 10/26/22 and he said he was trying to find a time.
11/1/22-Mike was contacted again on 11/1/22 but no reply.
11/1/22-Mike was sent notice by text 11/1/22 of seven day deadline or risk of lawsuit with a list of unfinished issues.
11/10/22- NO CALL NO SHOW until last minute- Mike said that a plumber would come 11/10/22 and my father cancelled his plans on VETERENS DAY to go to my son’s school however he did not come and we waited all day for his arrival. When I text Mike he called the plumber last minute and he arrived. Plumber confirmed he was called at last minute but Mike lied and said this was not what happened. He installed the part making it operational but no silicone was used.
11/12/22 -Some random guy came and attempted to fix the damage done to the wall by Mike but did a poor job. He didn’t not grout the window only used caulk. We paid a premium price for top notch work and now he is changing to poor work after we paid a premium price.
We are unsure why Mike will not come back to finish the work. We had no problems, fights, or issues before the surgery and we have used him for countless other projects.
We require that the job be finished promptly and all other odds and ends finished.

paint touch ups on ceiling and walls and there are areas that were not fixed properly and already cracking and coming apart.- NOT COMPLETED
I am losing my patience and will be taking the next step soon If this is not rectified quickly and at the high quality standard we paid for.

Customer called BBB 1/9/223 and stated he has not heard from the business since his December 22 rebuttal.
