Complaint is regarding monies withheld from deposit to apartment complex in the amount t of $60. Millicent Wells, property manager of Beau Terre Apts, alleges oven and microwave were “dirty”, on her inspection of apartment for move out. The outdated appliances are properties of apartment conomsz car were built in 1985 The microwave was a replacement to. non-functional one and was not in operable condition. It was suppose to be replaced but wasn’t. The pics validate the appliances were returned in a condition that gives in account of wear and tear of out dates appliances. To Whom It May Concern:
A walk through of unit #*** was completed on August 27, 2024. While completing the walk through, it was notated that the inside of the microwave and the oven were left dirty with food, grime, etc. While we do not charge for normal wear and tear, we do charge based on cleanliness of the unit.
I have attached eleven (11) different pictures to show the condition of the appliances upon walking the unit along with a copy of Ms. ******** signed inventory and condition form stating the condition of the unit upon move in. This form was completed and turned into the office six (6) days after Ms. *******s move in date.
While I understand Ms. ******** concerns, we must follow our company policies and procedures when completing final walk-throughs, and charge accordingly.

Apartment *** was vacated Sept. 1 2022. All bills were paid and we received a move-out statement stating we were to be reimbursed $250.00. It is the end of November and we still haven't received any funds. When we first called them they said that they mailed it out in September. We told them we never received could they please stop payment and reissue another payment. They said they could see that the check was never cashed in their system. They said they'd check into it and call us back. They stopped responding/answering our calls and emails. I have to call from private numbers or an unknown number to them for them to answer at all and when they do - they say the person I need to speak with is unavailable... and they'll leave her another message from me. BUT they never respond. This is very shady. I think they lied to us and never sent out the payment that they claimed to.Business response
