This place has horrible customer service and very unprofessional. Renewed my insurance on Nov 1 and had to leave almost $600 foot down payment and cancelled on the following day. They would not return my down payment and I was only insured for a day. Them I called the main office number and hold times were over an hour, so I requested a call back. They didn’t call me back until the next day and hung up on the middle of the conversation. Called back and got the same action; returned the call to only hang up on me again!!!! I don't recommend this car insurance company. I'm trying to make a complaint about one of the agents, that is out of control acting crazy. She treats customers very badly. She was very rude to many customers and was upset if someone asked for assistance. When you walk in , her desk is on the right. She is the shorter one, slimmer, and her desk was very messy, with food and trash. The address of this business was 4021 Behrman hwy F, New Orleans LA 70114.Review from Peter P

Was a long and annoying quote process, never answered so many questions in my life and felt like many were getting personal and I could not think of what they had to do with insurance. Long story short, the quote was good, I signed, they told me in an email "Oh your insurance is finalized congrats but FYI it went up from 3000 to 3600, 20% more than I was quoted and signed for. Okay this is a bad quote not, so I tell them now and they tell me they want $290 cancellation fee? How can you do that, if your not going to stand by your quote then your forcing people to sign a blank check and filling it in later and blackmailing them to follow through our pay a fee!!!! This is either a straight-out scam or some of the worst business practices ever. I did not get far enough with them to experience how a claim goes but from the google reviews and the comments here I suspect much the same.Review from BB L

Go Auto Insurance is an unprofessional and deceptive insurance company. I was in an accident with one of their customers several months ago and have been without a working vehicle due their customer for months. I was hurt in the accident but did not file a medical claim, I used my own medical insurance, and only filed a claim for my automobile, I sent all requested documents to their insurance adjuster ***** ********, however, she would say that she needed more documents, even after I had sent the requested documents. I sent her a final document and there was no word from her for weeks. Finally, they gave me a low ball offer, and told me it could take two years for me to settle my claim.Review from Wendell J

I crashed my car over 2 weeks ago and put in a claim. My adjuster is ***** ******* and he is the most rude and irresponsible person I've ever met. I have my 2000 dollar deductible waiting to pay. I called ******* today and he told he that I was distracting him from talking to another customer and that he doesn't know when he is going to look at my car..all I'm trying to do is pay my 2000 dollar deductible and get my car fixed. He didn't have to be so rude. I'm making your company money and if you don't like your job then go do something else. Corporate really needs to reach out because I was referring everyone I knew to this insurance company and now I'm going to make sure I write a review and let everyone know do not come to this company especially how unprofessional and rude ***** ******* is. He never introduced himself and never followed up. And I've been calling him numerous of times and all they can tell me he is not in but the one day I do contact him, he yells at me and tell me I'm a distraction. Don't go here. HORRIBLE! They suck at communicating. My claim has been open for 3 months & my car is still in the shop. My advisor got fired while dealing with my claim & no one reached out to inform me. Took them a whole month to answer the phone. Whenever they’d answer calls they’re rude, short and made me feel like i was bothering them. Refused to open a claim for me even though I had an active policy on the date of the accident. Placed a call to customer service for assistance but was not getting any help from the customer service team I requested to Speak to a manager or supervisor and when the manager got on the phone she was rude and very combative and eventually disconnected the call in my face. So so unprofessional and rude with no clue as to the expectations of a customer service representative. A horrible and disgraceful and poor excuse for a person in a leadership role as supervisory or manager, setting a poor disgraceful example for her team.Review from Ken B

I am deeply disappointed with Go Auto! I purchased a car on 8/3/24, the policy was purchased on the Go Auto app! I was never told, prompted or had to agree/disagree with the down payment cannot be refunded if I chose to cancel the claim at anytime! So Dept of Insurance is allowing this company to keep consumers hard earned money if they decided to go with another company? The man i spoke with on the 6th never said I wouldn’t be getting a refund! At a loss for words!Review from Savannah P

On Monday, July 29th, I submitted a claim for my vehicle, which had sustained damage due to a blowout and a cracked subframe. I provided all necessary documentation, including photographs of the damages. However, I did not receive a response from my insurance company until three days later. During this time, I was unable to secure a rental vehicle as an adjuster had not yet been sent to Giles Nissan, where my car was being stored. The adjuster did not inspect my vehicle until August 7th, leaving me without transportation for nine days and causing significant disruption to my ability to get to work. On August 7th, I received a reservation for a rental car from Gwendolyn Brown after my vehicle was determined to be undrivable. However, I was informed that the damages were below my deductible, and Go Auto would not cover any costs. On August 9th, I picked up the rental car and subsequently paid my deductible of $2,500 on August 15th to the dealership, as they determined the damages exceeded the initial quote provided by Go Auto through Gwendolyn Brown. I was informed that the dealership submitted supplements and that an adjuster would re-assess the damages. Today, August 21st, I was informed by Gwendolyn Brown that Go Auto will not be covering any additional costs and that I must return the rental by Friday, August 23rd, despite my deductible being met and outstanding damages from the blowout. This situation has left me deeply concerned, as Go Auto is now refusing to pay for the remaining damages to the subframe of my car and is not extending my rental coverage, leaving me without transportation and at risk of further financial hardship. I have fulfilled my obligations by promptly paying my deductible, and I respectfully request that Go Auto uphold their end of the insurance agreement by covering the remaining damages and extending the rental car coverage until the issue is fully resolved. I cannot afford to miss any more work due to this situation.
