      We were told that Regional would fix any damages to our home for one year free of charge. When our home was finished, there were damages to the siding, roof, and skirting. On the inside the frames of all of the windows looked like a child had installed them, the bathtubs are not installed correctly, there is part of a wall that is slanted, the electrical outlet in the island in the kitchen is a mess, the under side of the cabinets by the kitchen stove fell down, the stain/paint runs off on my hands, and there is much more that needs attention. They have been here several times to fix things, but they only stay for a short time, and then tell me that they are waiting on materials. When they leave, the things they fixed are worse than before they worked on them. We moved to this house in January, 2023, so it’s been over a year, but we have called and tried to get them to hold up their end of the deal for that WHOLE year, and into the new year. Now they won’t even return our calls. Our new house looks years old, but they insist it’s new. If that’s the case, they really trashed it. A lot of these things are rather small, but when you spend the amount of money a house costs, you expect it to last for a few years. I don’t think ours will. I have Regional one star, but only because I couldn’t submit my review if I didn’t. (David and Dale ********, Keithville, LA)

      -Unprofessional/Talk about their competitors negatively -Don’t verify their employees work -Take to long to get repairs fixed -Poor communication/Some false -Don’t use best practices to ensure a smooth transition throughout the entire process from signing papers to moving into the home

      On behalf of Regional Homes of Bossier City, I apologize that Mrs. ******* feels that we talk about our competition badly. That is not a reflection of who we are as a company. We have a group of contractors that are not our employees, but we work closely with them. She was unhappy with some of the work that was done by a few of our close contractors. We decided to let her pick her own contractor, and we would reimburse the bill. How it works for us over here is that when the home is delivered and set up, we will send a trim-out crew out that way to get the house looking great! After the trim-out crew is done, the customer can move in. Once the customer is living in the home, they will notice little things here and there. We ask the customers to create a 30-day running list so we can get that list to the factory, and they will send another guy out. With this instance here, we have gone above and beyond by allowing her to pick her contractors and paying the bill in full. Josie (service manager) and I am in constant contact with Mrs. ******** One of us is talking to her at least once every day. We are trying our best to make sure that her home-buying experience is as great as she is as a person.

      I will admit that the reply from Regional Homes is very well written. In regards to them letting me pick out my own contractor, I basically had to beg for the opportunity to pick out a licensed plumber due to the fact that Regionals contractors had repaired the same issues twice before I requested to seek someone else.(Pictures with date/time stamp will be included)

      I still have not received reimbursement for those repair service. When I asked for the date the reimbursement was mailed out I was told it was sent out on the date they received the invoice but it may have been sent to the wrong address. I was also told the check would be voided and sent out with "next day priority" but my mailing address was not verified.

      It states that Regional works close with their contractors but NOONE comes out to verify their work. I have several, more than six issues in which contractors had to come back out a second time to repair.

      I will be taking further actions because if it were only a few things that I was dissatisfied with it the new home buying process would not be so stressful.

      I feel more like I'm moving into a used mobile home than a new 2023 with all of the repairs that still needs immediate attention!
