I called Allstar Plumbing and Maintenance, because my toilet in my 2nd bedroom was stopped up, so they came out. I asked the man named **** to run a snake down the line, and he changed the flange and said it was to small. After that I was charged $525.00. The next day the toilet was used and it stopped up! So I called them back and told them that the toilet was stopped up again! And I was told they don’t warrant stoppages! And **** said that I needed a new toilet, but the toilet worked just fine before this!

We went to the location due to a drain clog. upon arrival diagnosed the issue and provided a price to the customer to remove the toilet from the floor and use a sewer snake to unstop the drain line. we also mentioned in our quote that if there were any issues with the flange or reinstallation of the toilet there would be an additional quote. upon removing the toilet we found that the flange was undersized. given that the customer lives alone and is on a fixed income we graciously provided and installed a new flange at no additional cost as a good deed to the customer. once the flange was replaced we also attempted to run an auger through the commode itself just for good measure and was not able to get the snake to go though the toilet indicating that the toilet may have some sort of obstruction inside. we informed the customer of this and that we have eliminated the clog in the drain line itself and reinstalled the toilet but are not sure how long it would be until the toilet would be causing a problem. We provided an additional quote to the customer for replacement of the toilet but were denied approval to replace it. the customer agreed and signed our documents and paid for services rendered. the customer was also aware as it is our company policy that we do not warranty drainage clogs and that id the issue were to arise again proceeding with the toilet replacement would be necessary given that were the issue upon our arrival/return. The customer contacted us back saying there was still an issue and wanted us to come back out to fix / rectify the issue at no additional cost. We asked the customer if they were aware of all of the literature provided as listed above and the customer used profanity and vulgar attitude even after offering to return to evaluate the issue at no charge and hung up on us.
